...among other things. Read all of it then what you have read on the Newbie Board will make more sense. Look for the Provider Relations 101 heading then check the links listed below it. The first one "Contacting a Provider" will immediately apply to you question about initiating contact.

Screening is what an agency or independent provider does to determine you aren't a LEO (law enforcement officer), you aren't a rapist, murderer, sex offender, so she can be comfortable you won't arrest or harm her in some way. Also you are a client who will respect her boundaries and you're clean.

Newbies don't have providers they have seen who can be references for them. Providers in this case want some personal info so they can research you. Many providers won't see Newbies.

P411 isn't necessary but I'd say it's probably the easiest thing you can do to get verified. You give the information to them, one place, you don't have to give it out to lots of providers. Call the P411 800 number and talk to them. Providers who are P411 members can indicate they are newbie friendly on their P411 profile. They will want screening info. Many P411 providers accept your P411 membership as sufficient others won't.

I could go on and on but I won't. Read the Self-Help Center. Then come here and ask questions.

Welcome.

Hello everyone. I am a brand new member and looking to get involved in the escort community as a client. I have zero experience so I don’t know where to start. I have been looking around for a beginner FAQ and I have not been able to find one; could someone point it out if it exists? I have been reading the newbie forums the last few days but I couldn’t find answers to some of my questions.

As I said before I am brand new so it’s my understanding that I need to get screened. I’m not entirely sure what that means but from what I have collected on the boards it can vary by each escort. Do I HAVE to be a member of P411 to be officially screened? What other screening methods do women use?

I messaged a few girls but have not gotten a response in a few days. I am not sure if I am saying the incorrect thing or what, but I normally just call or text something like “Asking about the ad, wondering what I need to do to be screened” is this an appropriate message?

Any other tips and advice would be helpful. I really have no idea how to get my foot in the door here. For what it’s worth, I’m looking for the girlfriend experience, not a quickie at the salon

but sometimes even that is not enough for some gals.

There are some gals who advertise themselves as "newbie friendly", and that might be a good way to break in.

You will have to be willing to share more personal information that you may be comfortable doing.  We're talking business phone, home address, etc.  Some guys say never to this, but I have done this many times and never had a problem, but then I stick only to gals with many good reviews

what you are looking for. For example, "Hi, my name is Sack and I have read several of your reviews on TER. I would like to see you for a one hour incall date on Tuesday, June 7 at 8pm. I am a P411 member and have several references there. I can also give you these references (list name and email address)." [date/time/incall or outcall/length of appointment/reference info, etc.]

Generic inquiries such as "Are you available next week?" will not get a response.

Before you email a girl, check out her ad or website. Sometimes, she'll have guidelines posted in regards to screening protocol.

As others have pointed out, it helps to be very specific as to when you'd like to meet. And, once you've familiarized yourself with her screening requirements, include that info in your introductory email (or say that you're willing to provide said info upon learning that she's available during the time that you've requested).

It also helps if you mention you've read over her site, and maybe include some (brief) personal introductory info.

Here's a sample email I'd consider polite:

'Hi, My name is Bob Smith. I saw your ad on XXX. I read over your site, and see that you're into skiing. Me too! In fact, I just returned from a trip from XXX.

I'd like to meet you in Chicago on Wednesday, June 8, around 8PM for an outcall to my residence in XXX. If you're not available at that time, Thursday the 9th or Monday the 13th could also work.

I've included my screening info as specified on your site, it is as follows: [include info here]

Please contact me if you have any questions or need more information from me.

Have a good weekend!

Bob'
