If someone contacts you who is TER Whitelisted, does that usually work for verification or do you also contact those providers to confirm? We've heard mixed things from other providers and are trying to figure out what is most common for Whitelisted hobbiests?
Also, are most providers pretty quick in response to other providers who ask about a hobbiest reference?

Screening requirements are a very subjective thing. 
Some ladies regard it the same as Okays on P411 where they only need to see an established history; others will not have anything to do with the Whitelist and will require a different type of verification altogether. There are even a few providers who are prejudiced AGAINST Whitelisted members.
I use the Whitelist as simply a list of references, and will randomly select a few of those ladies to contact with my reference request.
Most ladies will usually respond to a reference request within 24 hours. Please don't expect any type of reference-verification to be done within a couple of hours so that you can see someone for a same-day request..... it is possible, but it's best to plan ahead whenever you can.

If a guy is asking me for a whitelist, it goes without saying that - should I refuse - I risk a bad review. Or worse (bad backchannel, negative posts about me on the boards, etc.).
But, opinion varies. You'll find that some girls will take them w/o contacting anybody... some girls will, like, drill, the referring provider. Some girls fall in between.
This is my thought on the white list. I only ask women that I have seen and enjoyed my time with and plan to see many times in the future to white list me. I consider them top shelf and I will spend my money on them first unless there is a provider that would do a white list for me but is not able because she does not a have membership. I appreciate them taking time out of their day to be a reference for me. I have had providers in the past that wouldn't do a white list for me but asked for a review.Lol I would never do a nasty review on them. I would just move on and not see them again.

It's really great that this is how *you* view white list, but please remember that not all hobbyists do. The provider board is filled with stories of men threatening providers with bad reviews or worse if they don't white list or Okay on P411. Please understand that for many this can be a sensitive subject, and that not all hobbyists act in the same way that you do.
