No big deal..

Just tell her that you'd like to jump in the shower, since you've been walking around. Invite her to join you. (But do NOT get her hair or made-up face wet) (Don't say I didn't warn you)

I don't know if this question has come up before.  If so, I apologize for asking it again.  As one new to the hobby, and with summer fast approaching, I wanted to hear from both providers and clients their thoughts on the following issue:

There is constantly talk here on TER about how important it is to maintain a level of 'cleanliness' during a session.  What about when you go on multi-hour dates; especially in particularly hot/humid locales?  I'd definitely be sure to have showered just prior to meeting a provider but what about meeting first for public time and then going BCD a couple of hours later?  Is the expectation for one or both of you to take another shower just prior to the main event? I don't know how comfortable I'd be letting her get down to it after I've been walking around for 2+ hours, at 80 degrees or higher, marinating in perspiration.  I also don't think it would be too pleasant for me as I perform reciprocal favors for the same reason.

This situation must happen all the time on multi-hour dates.  What is the standard (if there is a standard) way to avoid any unpleasantness once the clothes start coming off 2-3 hours into the appointment?

Many thanks in advance for your comments and responses.

which is where I am based our summers get very hot in the 100's+.
Majority of my appts are multi-hr where we meet downstairs first for a drink or a small snack.
If it is in the summer months where it is hot and perhaps walking outside to the next door hotel or restaurant when we come back to the room I always wash up first.I might suggest to a gent if he wants to do a quick shower or I can join him for a bubble bath first. Most guys automatically go into the bathroom when we get back to the room and freshen up if we have been out for a couple hours. If you do a multi-hr appt in public first on a hot day suggest showing together.
Or offer her the bathroom to freshen up before you

You asked what is the standard procedure. Well nothing is really standard in this hobby, but in the situation you mentioned if you are spending a few hours outside getting hot and sweaty then you are going inside for fun, generally you both should jump in the shower for at least a quick rinse, but why not shower together as part of your playtime?

I've never had any difficulty with a client's hygiene degrading during a multi hour appointment. If we both clean up prior to our meeting, I generally don't mind getting a bit sweaty over the course of the next few hours
