PDD

I have a nephew that is PDD as well. As you say, you are correct. No one can notice in appearance. And sometimes it even take a while even after the initial conversation begins.

I cannot speak for everyone. I myself, have seen a PDD client.

I really find it no different than seeing anyone else.

Just my honest opinion

I found TER when searching Google for "escort newbie FAQ".  It's been helpful in answering my questions so far, but I've been unable to guage providers' tolerance for autistic clients, probably because it's relatively rare.

I have an autism-spectrum disorder called Pervasive Developmental Disorder, Not Otherwise Specified (PDD-NOS).  People passing me on the street probably wouldn't notice anything unusual, but seeing a provider is pretty intimate; the possibility of my idiosyncracies annoying her and ruining the session is troubling.

The primary effects it has on me is that I'm incapable of feeling empathy for others, dyspraxia, which results in an odd gait, and tactile-defensiveness (increased startle response to being touched unexpectedly).  I have no violent tendencies, however, and have been able to complete college and function well enough in society.

Would any of you ladies be wary of seeing me based on that description?  Given the level of risk in this business, I can understand of the answer is no.

A secondary issue is that I would be losing my virginity to the provider.  This isn't exactly something I can mention beforehand due to etiquette constraints.  How would I best handle it?

Based on the description you gave, I would have no problem welcoming you into my arms. I would suggest contacting the providers you would wish to see, and simply being honest with them about the autism. Let them know the things you mentioned (such as the startled response) so that it won't come as a surprise to them.

You may want to post this on your local board as well. This is a national board so you may get your questions answered however if you do find someone she may be half way accross the counrty!!

I would suggest placing this same post on the local board closest to you.

Good luck & God Bless

I thank God every day I don't suffer from something that serious, but it shows what great big hearts these ladies have to help a fellow human being.

Give yourselves a pat on the back, ladies, you've done good today.

I feel joy in providing intimacy ,tenderness and erotic satifaction to men regardless of their percieved differences,it is a human need to be touched and stroked. It is an honor to introduce a man to the plesures of the flesh...

Hi luv... I don't know where you are, but you've gotten some good advice here today.  I, too, would not have any trouble seeing you as a client if you are ever in Las Vegas.  In the meantime, try to find a lady in your local area, check the reviews, then write to the lady of your choice explaining your disorder.  I also have a nephew with Autism, so I have a deep understanding of the disorder and the extreme ranges of symptoms depending upon how deeply someone is affected.  Good for you for continuing to struggle against the limitations of your disorder and for your success in functioning in a society where being a little different isn't  always well accepted.

Cock, Cash, and Confidence. Have a great time and don't worry about your problem.

...but I can name a dozen ladies who didn't mind seeing an idiot client.

you really are quite high functioning. I would think you would not need to really even mention it to them.  If someone has a self injurious behavior yes, but just because you are diagnois with it does not mean you need to let her know that!

Enjoy your first booking and get back to us and let the board know how you made out.

Judging by the responses I've received so far, it seems there are quite a few open-minded providers out there.  I'm already ahead of the game.

For those of you wondering, I'm in Columbus, Ohio.  I'm going to start contacting some of the local independents* that have favorable TER reviews and see what they have to say.

Still would like advice on the virginity issue, as that might cause problems, autism or not.

* Yes, I know there are well-reviewed providers that work for agencies, but the Columbus vice squad has been majorly cracking down on agencies and massage parlors throughout 2005.

Hell man, I just read a post on this board about some dude paying to be lead around by his penis backward while braying like an ass. I doubt you could top that lol. Or just tell em it's part of 'your trip'.  :)

If a new client started acting jumpy or otherwise acted out of the ordinary, I'd immediately start wondering about LE or a psychopath.

However, if you explained everything as clearly as you did in your post, I'm sure many ladies would have no problem seeing you.

And as for the virginity issue--you're right in that you can't talk about sexual activity ahead of time in emails. So, just wait and mention it after you've been chatting at the beginning of the session and have gotten comfortable with each other.
