Some providers won't raise the rates for regulars. Other providers will allow a grandfather rate to be available for 2 months and the rates goes up. One thing that would be nice is for a provider to clearly state the grandfathering policy.  What is someone who is consider a regular or a VIP. Sometimes a provider will have different rates on different sites. That will cause a lot of confusion and trouble. Prices need to be consistant and the same on all sites.

From what I have seen raising rates is not something that goes over well in this hobby. A few years ago many providers in the DC area tried to raise the hourly rate to $300. It worked for a while until the visitors caught on and undercut the locals. ALso many hobbyists like myself would travel up to Philly or Harrisburg to get more reasonable rates. Some of the locals have been forced to tour to get the raised rates they enjoy. One problems with locals touring is that that have to realize they will not be available for local hobbyists. They run the risk that the hobbyists will see someone else. This is why some many touring providers to our area clean house.

Today there are even is a larger supply of providers available. Some providers will retire for a few months then work again to see if the rates are back up. Others will move to other cities where there are old rich men. They will come back in tour with their high rates. Guys who don't do their research and know the history will pay the new high rate. Then there are the women who are single and have not had it in a long time. You can find them at work or other sites.

I have found out that some of these single women and sometimes married women will call up an agency when their car is about the be repossessed. Work for a few days and then stop working.

Some of the providers who have raised rates have monthly specials that undercut the prevailing rates. Others have raised there minimum hourly requirements for new clients (2 hours) and existing clients 1.5 hours.

Bottom line you get what get what you pay for. Sometimes things are overpriced/overvalued. That is why reviews are so important. What you might think is a great value might be that much for someone else. If you are to cheap you don't get the GFE experience or get a session that is rushed.

One thing to keep in mind is that inflation in the US is out of control. The government does not include the price of a house in the CPI (just rent is included along with other items). Also gas is is sky high now. Hotel rates are pretty high. Where I work in Northern Virginia the rates go from $250-$350/night !!! THis is one of the reasons why recently I have opted for outcall. I also try to book an appointment for 3+ hours to an overnight to make worth while for the provider. Of course doing outcall has forced me to cutback on how much a I hobby. A few months ago I strickly did outcall and spent around $700/month for hotels. One thing that is nice is when a provider has pro-rated rates where you get a discount for more hours.

Remember one thing is he who has gold rules. If prices get to high there are alternative ways to get ones needs satisfied. It might take a little longer but evently you will get you a free piece, lol.
