Just as Toni suggested I did that with a provider here in my community and after a while when we were very comfortable with each other she was ok with giving her real name at the gate and it worked out very well for the two of us.  I think that building that trust and affection goes a long way to making the security situation work for both.

I just bought a house in an exclusive country club and since I am single, I would love to entertain a lady (or six) at my home.  The question is, does having to show a drivers license to get past the guard a deal breaker for the ladies ?

Seasoned hobbyist posting under an alias for a good reason.

...I meet the gentleman outside of the development, leave my car at a public parking lot, and the gentleman will drive me in.  Once I know the gentleman and have visited a few times and I feel comfortable for the most part, I will start going in on my own with him leaving just my first name at the gate.

Years ago, when directed to a gated community by a new client, he advised me that there was a keypad and he would give me the code when I got there. He never answered the phone and in return, had gotten a photo of my license plate from the security cameras therefore obtaining my name and address. He turned out to be an infamous scammer out of Orlando who obtained my name and address, etc. It was a very scary ordeal. Ladies are always a bit cautious when it comes to releasing names, licenses, or even having their vehicles viewed. Also, some have drivers, so make sure you address this issue when making the appointment.

Good luck!

it's not a deal-breaker for me, but I will typically only subject myself to such scrutiny to visit gentlemen I already know well.
