...something that will make you safe rather than sorry don't you?

It sounds like you didn't read the rest of the thread. The "LE check" is a myth believed by some. They think a LE officer can't lie and say they are not LE or they believe the officer can't get naked, or let you grope them. They also believe LE can't grope you. They think if the guy let's the provider pull his dick out and suck it he's not LE because LE can't do that. They are wrong. LE can and will do any of these things.

Don't make it sound as if the LE check is a legitimate thing. It is not. I hope you just didn't pay attention here and not that you actually thought the "LE check" was something to be done to protect yourself. This is the newbie board. It's important to get it right.

Any newbies reading this please read the entire thread. The other posters gave very good information.

I suppose this varies by provider. I've only seen one DIY massage provider with no screening at all so a LE check is not something I've experienced.

What does this typically mean?

Some people mistakenly believe that police are not allowed to do that, hence the myth of the "LE check." The truth is the LE check is useless as LE can and will do pretty much anything they want, up to actually having intercourse. (in some jurisdictions).
The best real LE check is to screen well from both sides.
So anyway while it is totally worthless, some still believe in it, and you will still see it in a lot of reviews. For me personally, I know it means nothing, but if a hooker wants to grab my balls as soon as I walk in the door, and it makes her feel better, I am certainly not one to complain. :)

I don't know what "typical" is, but in NYC, the LE check as made famous by places like the old JoNY or GC, involves a preliminary lick or such: Enter the doorway, greeter asks you to unzip and unfurl, she kneels down and administers a quick taste test. At that point, you are good to go. Even though I knew it was coming, the first time was really exciting. Now it almost seems like a part of the JoNY - GC "brand"

In the massage world, the LE check is when she says "get comfortable" or "disrobe to your level of comfort" and leaves the room for three minutes. If she comes back and you're nude without a towel over your ass, she's more comfortable that you're not LE.

It might be something that varies by jurisdiction, or if there have been recent changes to the laws, but around here the powers that be have declined to prosecute many arrested individuals because it came out the dicks, I mean detectives, had exposed themselves during the sting. Cases have fallen apart because they got nude, much less actually had sex.

Honestly, I don't think LE cares. They have their fun ruining lives, arresting people and getting their faces in the paper. What does LE care if they actually go to prison or not? The splashy news about the arrests is all they need to get their funding.

So yeah, screening is more important.

This conversation reminds me of a lady who saw me about to lay the donation on a table and said "you can hand it to me, I'm not a cop." My instinct was to get out of there and leave nothing behind me but a trail of smoke and a fearghas-shaped hole in the door. I decided to stay and had a pretty good time.

it's a worthless exercise to show that you (the client) are not a LEO.  Doesn't matter what she does, if she or you are a LEO, you're both screwed, and not in a nice way.

However, I agree with one poster, if she wants to grab my  balls, she can have at it.......

LE-Law Enforcement ..   Trust me it's better to be safe then sorry ..

PLEASE don't encourage the newbs to follow bad advice. There is NO "LE check" it's an urban myth and we aren't here to promulgate myths, we are here to put the newbies on the safest path we can, believing in fairy tales doesn't make you safe, it only makes you foolish. Shame on you for not knowing better after all this time.

What we providers do.  When i  tour I definitely check, screening/verification. I've logged/reported a cops number, how did I know it was a cops number because the MUTHER fucker arrested me so why don't you stfu and not give advise about what or how providers do LE Checks..

...to "check, screening/verify" but if you believe reaching down into the mans pants and playing with his balls will keep him from arresting you if he's a cop there for the purpose of arresting you then you are delusional. I already said the OP was asking about the "LE check" he has seen mentioned in reviews. This "LE check" has nothing to do with screening, verifying, or vetting a potential client. That should all be done before he ever arrives at your location.

Once again the "LE check" is done by the provider in the false belief that a cop can't arrest her if he allows her to fondle, suck, or perform some quick sexual activity on him when he enters her in call because cops aren't allowed to let the provider do this. They incorrectly assume he can't be a cop or he wouldn't have allowed her to do such a thing. The fact is cops can do these things in order to make the case and will arrest the provider if that's what he was there for to begin with.

You have been around for a while now. This information is in many discussion threads here on the newbie board. I would have thought you had read it by now even if by accident while perusing the boards.

It's a scary thought that you may believe the "LE check" is a valid form of screening for LE. Did you even read the OP? Your response made it seem as if the "LE check" is a normal part of screening. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Interesting you responded to GaGambler but not my first reply to you. You leave me simply shaking my head in disbelief. Please refrain from posting advice or instructions on the newbie board. If the rest of your "help" here is as bad as this you are a detriment to the board.

Gemma is doing a disservice to peeps here with her horrible advice.

Unless...she doesn't know what the "LE Check" really means?

Some people REALLY should not drink and post, Gemma and Swim both fall into that category.

A couple of years ago Gemma really went off the deep end, she took a little time off and came back a whole new person, maybe it's time for her to take another break? Especially from giving advice to newbies who also could find themselves arrested after "thinking" that they have conducted some kind of LE check that is supposed to keep them safe.

Gemma, I don't dislike you and even if I did the newbie board is no place for axe grinding, but PLEASE refrain from giving out advice here, do you really want some newbie to end up in jail after following your bad and dangerous advice?
