I've always used the thin or ultra-thin ones. When I've done duos with other ladies, that's what they've usually had too.
Well, except for one provider I knew who always had a mixed assortment that she picked up free from Planned Parenthood or a similar place lol.
I have my first appointment ever on monday, and was gonna buy a box of trojan bareskin, but I'd rather go empty handed of course if she already has these or similar.
For your first P4P date, I strongly suggest you go with the flow, and shimmy into whatever she has on hand.
Also, there are simple ways to check an individual condom's integrity (air resistance, lubricity, expiration date, etc), so why is there such a big concern about needing an unopened box and johns poking holes in the condom?
If I brought my own, I would have her inspect them before any activity started and let her put it on.
Personally, on the rare occasion someone asks me to use what he brought, I usually find it to be an awkward moment.

I always say I prefer to use my own, which I do. I know mine are good, as I've already checked them.
Even if they're in a box, I at least have to check the expiration date on the box. Which means flicking on the lights and sliding on my oh-so-sexy reading glasses. Meanwhile, my partners "attention" is flagging.
However, on a second date with someone, I don't mind at all if he presents them at the beginning of the date. But I still prefer they be in the box, and not just because I find it reassuring.
In the box, the writing is bigger and makes it easier for me to see if they've got spermicide or warming lube or anything else that causes a bad reaction for me. Ditto for the Exp. date.
Besides, following the linked instructions for checking a condom does NOT say to someone, "yeah baby I really liked you last time, feel totally comfy with you and can't wait to jump your bones again".
No, it screams "you're still nothing more than a not-to-be trusted trick to me!"....... so let's just avoid that, shall we?

Bring an unopened one always.I compare opened condoms to an open drink.I will not touch it unless it sealed.Thin condoms are amazing!I wish luck on your first appointment
One of my longtime friends told me that some ladies use a toy push them up far enough.
I order them online, although drugstores in some areas already carry them.
