are thinner condoms more popular and more commonly used in this hobby?

I've always used the thin or ultra-thin ones.  When I've done duos with other ladies, that's what they've usually had too.
Well, except for one provider I knew who always had a mixed assortment that she picked up free from Planned Parenthood or a similar place lol.  ;-)

I have my first appointment ever on monday, and was gonna buy a box of trojan bareskin, but I'd rather go empty handed of course if she already has these or similar.

For your first P4P date, I strongly suggest you go with the flow, and shimmy into whatever she has on hand.  :-)

Also, there are simple ways to check an individual condom's integrity (air resistance, lubricity, expiration date, etc), so why is there such a big concern about needing an unopened box and johns poking holes in the condom?
If I brought my own, I would have her inspect them before any activity started and let her put it on.

Personally, on the rare occasion someone asks me to use what he brought, I usually find it to be an awkward moment.
Generally, the gentleman has presented them at the beginning at the date, when I'm still not completely comfortable with him: we've just gotten the donation & ID out of the way and then he says, "oh I brought these, if that's ok!"...sigh.
So you just gave me an envelope and now you want me to give you a yea or nay to condoms?   NO.  Wait a little bit.

But later isn't great for me either.  We're ready to go, I reach towards the bedside table and suddenly he says: "oh I brought my own!" and lurches off the bed towards his discarded pants or backpack, to fish them out.  I always say I prefer to use my own, which I do.  I know mine are good, as I've already checked them.

Even if they're in a box, I at least have to check the expiration date on the box.  Which means flicking on the lights and sliding on my oh-so-sexy reading glasses.  Meanwhile, my partners "attention" is flagging.  ;-)

However, on a second date with someone, I don't mind at all if he presents them at the beginning of the date.  But I still prefer they be in the box, and not just because I find it reassuring.
In the box, the writing is bigger and makes it easier for me to see if they've got spermicide or warming lube or anything else that causes a bad reaction for me.  Ditto for the Exp. date.

Besides, following the linked instructions for checking a condom does NOT say to someone, "yeah baby I really liked you last time, feel totally comfy with you and can't wait to jump your bones again".

No, it screams "you're still nothing more than a not-to-be trusted trick to me!"....... so let's just avoid that, shall we?  :-)

Good advice from escort about condoms

Bring an unopened one always.I compare opened condoms to an open drink.I will not touch it unless it sealed.Thin condoms are amazing!I wish luck on your first appointment;-)

I tried that with one gal who wanted to try them, but she couldn't get the gizmo to stay in.

They should give lessons to you when you buy them.

They are also hard to find.  I had to go to Planned Parenthood to get them, which meant waiting in line to go through security like at an airport, though they did give them out free

One of my longtime friends told me that some ladies use a toy push them up far enough.  ;-)

I order them online, although drugstores in some areas already carry them.   :-)

It's best to buy them online.   I get mine at Amazon.com along with my Swiss Navy silicone lube.

There is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to using female condoms.

Most importantly, everyone should be aware of the edge of the female condom that's sticking out. It's not difficult for a corner of that to get tucked inside and once a bit of it gets tucked in, the rest of it can easily follow.  I usually keep my hand where I can feel the outer edge of the female condom.

I've also decided that they fit me much better when I remove the little ring that supposed to fit over the diaphragm.

There should be plenty of lube used on The outside of the female condom which will be touching the inside of the vagina, and on the inside of the female condom which will help the penis slip in and out easily.

They are really great and worth the effort for most men.

So far, I have been with 2 providers who use them on a regular basis, ine of whom takes out the inner ring and has ME insert the FC into her by placing it all lubed up onto my cock and having me push it in using my cock.  It has worked pretty well for the last 5 dates I have had with her, including trips to Greece.  Its also a way to go back and forth between Vajayjay and Greece cleanly (using 2 sleeves).  No cross contamination and fun can ensue!

Crown condoms and kimono condoms are thin too. I usually carry all four brands myself.

Just an FYI on the kimono's, they are REALLY tight on your dick so be prepared. I personally like the Skyn brand very thin, fit comfortably, and are non-latex.
