I'm based in chicago and thinking about touring Milwaukee and maybe Indy, any suggestions of when to post ads and how many pre bookings are needed? and any other general information. all good info is much appreciated. Thanks.

But I agree with your assessment. Unless she has good reviews elsewhere and she has more experience than shown, I would also advise her not to tour as that brings with it many more obstacles and potential profit killers.

Touring with no reviews it will be pretty hard to have guys pre book with you.So I recommend staying in your hometown until you establish some reviews!

You need to get your rep established locally before venturing out on the touring part of the hobby.  Most guys are not going to pre-book a touring provider who has no reviews or anyone that knows something about her.  Granted, Milwaukee and Indy are not far from Chi-town, but if you had some local reviews, you would have a much better chance of getting some biz on the road.

Many providers will not attempt to tour somewhere unless they have some guaranteed dates to cover expenses, hence advertising and pre-booking.  It might help if you start asking your local clients if they are members of TER and if they would mind posting a review of their encounter with you.  If they are not members, you can always tell them about the site, the fact that it's free to join, and that they will get 15 free VIP membership days for writing a review.

As a last thought, have you read the self help center?  If not, I suggest you do so real soon.

would be adequate to think about touring?  I'm obviously not looking for an answer like "49" but are we talking 5, 10, 50?  What would be a minimum in people's opinion? I've been researching touring but I think with 5 reviews, I'm getting ahead of myself.

try posting an ad for a 2 or 3 night trip to Milwaukee or Indy where you can drive. Post the ad about 3-4 weeks ahead and if you don't get enough punches on your dance card to make it profitable, then shorten the trip or cancel to cut your losses.

The things you do to market yourself may not pay off right away.  It take time.

Here are the dates of some upcoming meet and greets you new providers might consider attending:

Las Vegas:  May 28
New York City:  7/27
LA:  October
New York City:  11/16

There might be others.

This is a great way to let the guys get to know you!

I've heard some providers say, "I don't go to meet and greets because I never get any appointments from them", or, "I don't advertise on ___ because I tried it and I didn't get any bookings all week".  The thing is, there are a lot of ladies who these guys are considering seeing.  Just because you don't leave a meet and greet with bookings or get calls from an ad immediately, doesn't mean that these marketing tools aren't working for you.  You're planting the proverbial seeds.  It might be years before the guys you meet at a meet and greet or who see you ad actually call you.  There are many choices for them.  We have to be seen (the more consistently the better) to be considered
