Back in college, I met someone who used that expression and it was so new to me then that it shocked me. I mean she was really down on life, let alone sex and I think she tried both men and women who did the equal opportunity fucking to her poor brain.

Men and women are mostly motivated by the same things, albeit in different ways. If one is looking for some personal satisfaction in this biz or in life an general, the line is too long for you to get answers from other people. Dwelling on your circumstances is often a recipe for disaster. Alternately, you might consider finding peace in helping others. People with big hearts often do well in the most dire circumstances, because they know the coping skills nececssary to negotiate life. Consider working with the Peace Corps, Amnesty International, or some other chartiable foundation; hell start your own.

Getting fucked soul-less doesn't have to be a destination. First, I think this biz should be a short term proposition at best. I also find that the ladies who really do well, sell out to the idea emotionally and phyiscally. I mean it's nothing wrong with marketing yourself in this way, but being an idealist, you will get your soul fucked out. Being a whore for some men and women is the lowest form of species. There are many women for example that are in this biz out of self-hatred and there are many others that let the biz and its potholes roll off their backs. If you are going to successful long term, you have to find your way into the latter group or risk being an emotionally vapid, soul-less creature wandering life's highways lost and oh so alone.
