Once in a while you can come across a provider who is lax on screening but I for one wouldn't want to see her for several reasons. And it is difficult to give agency women as references. Do you have providers you can give as references from where you moved from? I did this when I first arrived in town. The provider references I gave were out-of-state but all had websites and were well reviewed.
I'm new to Chicago and have been running into a bit of difficulty lately. As most of you know a lot of the more reputable providers in this area won't see you unless you've got a memebership to RS2K or references from another well-known provider.
I know that most of you will say that an RS2K membership is the best way to go. However, I'm not to keen on giving out my credit card number to RS2K over e-mail and I don't want my info (personal or financial) held in a database that could be broken into. No offense to RS2K, but any system that can't process credit cards securely through a web-application feels less safe than giving my CC info to Amazon.com.
Unfortunately, this leaves me with a Catch-22. I can't see any providers who are acceptable as references because I have no references. Are there any reputable providers (even agencies) that would be willing to do some sort of screening other than RS2K? Any information would be helpful.

I'm not suggesting that the ladies be lax in their screening. I am well aware of the state of things here right now and I understand the need for security. I want the ladies to be safe, just like I want to be safe. This is why I'm just looking for someone who won't require me to use a service that asks for sensitive FINANCIAL information in an unsecure format. Screening is fine, giving out my CC number over e-mail is not.
I don't recall having to give CC info to RS2000. Not sure why they would ever need it. Like you, I was new to Chicago and joining made things so much easier. Suggest contacting a few of the providers. Not all use RS2000 for screening, but references will then be a must in just about all cases.
If your objection has only to do with email...why not just ask if you can give your verification info by phone?
Every time you pay with a credit card...even in a store, you risk sensitive info being misused. Do you think the kid making $7 an hour at Best Buy has any problem selling your credit card number off when he gets back to the 'hood?
in fact, they charged their fee on one of my ccs. Unfortunately, many NY/NJ agencies and indies aren't familiar with RS2K. They seem to be a midwest phenomenon. East coast and south are ignorant of the service in general.
Sometimes my memory fails me. I now remember the fee being charged to one of my cards. I'm recently from NY/NJ. Without strong references and/or personal and sometimes work info, you don't get to play. And no one would check a reference from an agency. As a newbie, got laughed at once trying that. None of the services seemed to be used by anyone.
Alot of agencies dont give referances, and others leave you with a bad taste as to if the referance they actually gave you is ok or not...
I like many other ladies accept referances from only 2 agencies, Secretly-Yours and Michelles. I trust them and that the info they furnish is true and correct...

I think I did my RS2K with Paypal but it was almost 2 years ago. I do not know if they do Paypal today? I remember that they were very helpful. I had to do a rush verification cuz Exotica-2000 would not accept independent references only RS2K. I remember Paypal was a hassle but I got it done in 24 hours.
Contact RS2K on the phone...you can pay them by check or money order. It will take a few more days than using a credit card but being a member of RS2K will help you get "dates"

In lieu of a RS2K membership and not having any provider references, there isn't much you can do, IMHO, if you want to see reputable independent providers.
I know how frustrating that catch-22 situation can be which is why I took a chance and joined RS2K about a year ago, despite having to give out CC information via email. However, Cathy at RS2K assured me that your CC is only used to verify your name and address. They don't store your financial information in any database. For membership payment, you do have the option of using Paypal which uses encryption for CC payments.
At one time or another, I think we all had to weigh the pros and cons, in regards to how much personal infomation we were willing to give out in order to participate in this hobby.
If you feel very uncomfortable at giving out personal info., I think your only solution is to visit the legal brothels in Nevada ...but being legal, safe, and private does come at a high cost in regards to how much you're going to pay.

i was vary at first too,but since signing on with rs2k i've had no regrets.Cathy has always been helpful when i"ve spoken with her and you do have to identify yourself before she gives out any details.the best part is if you are a good client[that is no rs2k provider has logged any complaints on you]it is a very quick verification for those last minute appointments and this is very helpful if someone is a no-show.the info that is shared is a name ,a cell,and a home town.its very quick,i've usually gotten a call back in less than ten minutes that i've been verified and the best part is that its also good if you travel to other areas where its used and you dont know any local references.and lastly i've only had one mediocre experience with the providers that advertise on rs2k and that was a touring girl ,not a local

When I spoke with Isabell I offered to provide RS2K info but she said they don't use them. I provided minimum information and was enjoying Lori's great oral skills a few hours later...

report your card lost as soon as the verification process is complete and get a new card. Fraudulent purchases are not your responsilbility anyway.
