Lots of guys don't want to give out their real names and there are plenty of ladies who are cool with that. We can all find clients and providers who suit our own comfort level. ;-
Good evening all. This is a question for providers. If I email screening information to a provider, does the provider keep the information after her concerns are satisfied? If and when is it deleted? I searched for the answer and didn't find it, so my apologies if it is redundant.
...posted by providers says they get rid of your information once you've passed screening and seen them. The question comes to mind, how do they know it's me when I call or e-mail them. They obviously keep something to bring you to mind but it doesn't have to be all your information. Having your e-mail in their contacts list wouldn't identify you to anyone but her. You TER handle or some other identifying "name" in her phone would serve the same purpose.
There is no way to know for sure and there is no industry standard. This is why it's very important especially for a newbie to research thoroughly the provider you choose to see. Once you're established and have references you won't need to give out all that information. Even then you will still have providers that want more than just references. If you're a P411 member that is very often all a provider needs but some still want more. It's up to you to decide what you are comfortable giving out. They have a right to get what they need to feel safe and you have the right to say OK or not.

There are an awful lot of "John's" in this hobby, lol.
Occasionally I get a reference from someone who says, "I think I saw someone by that name a few months ago...".
NO! I want them to know for SURE that they saw THIS person and the only way to know that is by having a record of the email address and/or phone number.
Not all providers check references with other providers, either, though. They might be verifying employment or ID's or something like that. Maybe that is the personal info that gets deleted.
It's possible to have a good reputation and verifiable references without using any REAL personal info. A unique email address, phone number, and handle that are all used specifically for the hobby work just as well as REAL info. We just want to know you are safe. We don't care who you REALLY are.
As long as everything goes well, I really don't keep much information at all. Nor do most providers, in my experience. 
I'll save your email address to a folder for good clients I've seen once. If we meet again, still a great time, you get moved to a different folder for repeat visitors. 
In my phone, I keep your first name followed by the screening method used: RS2K, P411, etc.
Now, if there's a real problem (and I'm not just talking stinky breath or he kept yakking about his now-retired ATF but important stuff) then I will keep all the screening/contact info I have for him with notes as to exactly what the problem was.
This is to help out any ladies who may ask for a reference for him, or report a bad incident with a similar person. This way, I can share or add what info I have in an effort to help warn others.
That's why you only get my fake name and my burner number. The ladies that can't deal with that, don't get to see this handsome, sexy (old) dude!
All someone has to do is ask me NOT to keep that, and it all gets deleted. That means I cannot provide a reference for any ladies who might ask, though. (And YES, guys have asked me to erase his contact details & all evidence of our communication but then been surprised when I couldn't provide a reference for him later on. LOL. )
Or that I keep bad clients' information to help out other ladies?

Because it ends up on a working girls phone and sometimes with notes. Not something I want to answer to if the phone falls in the wrong hands...the law.
LE can't just look at the info on our phones. Hopefully we all have our info password protected. If LE ever does take someone's phone and tell them to give the password, they SHOULD NOT!!! LE might try to access the phone without a warrant, and if we let them, they can. Don't let them. Tell them, "No". My attorney says it's very unlikely that a judge will bother with a warrant to get phone and/or computer info.
Don't give your real name and number if you don't want to. If it's the name and number you're using for the hobby, then it is YOURS, if you know what I mean. Of course Debbie, other knowledgeable providers, and I are keeping some info so we can give references and know that we've seen people before.
Having your phone number in our phones doesn't mean we had sex for money with you. How would LE prove that even if we DID meet with them and they DID access our phones? It's an unreasonable fear

The only PERSONAL info I need are your first name... I don't need your last name.
I need the last 4 digits of your phone number.
And two girls you have seen in the last 2 years to say you are a nice CLEAN guy.
Thats pretty much it to be screened. Once I've accomplished that, I consider you a GREEN LIGHT -
and the only thing I need from then on is your EMAIL address. I know you are screened and ready to go.
To meet, yes, I'll need your number to call... but I delete that afterward too.
basically the only thing I retain is an email address... so when you write me, I know if I have seen you before or not.... or that you are screened and ready to book when you choose
