A question was posted yesterday about tipping providers above and beyond the agreed-upon donation.  This was a very helpful thread with one noticeable thing missing from the responses: how does one go about giving that gift?

If the standard protocol for donations is to not mention them at all during a session, how does a client show their appreciation with a monetary (or non-monetary) gift afterwards without it being awkward or breaking the "donation rule"?  I'd love to give a provider a tip for time well spent but am unsure how to effectively do so.

Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks

As for a non-monetary gift just hand it to them whenever the mood strikes you.

amount in them. I simply place the chosen tip envelope in the same place as the original donation without saying anything and leave
