END OF MESSAGE

1. Reading those reviews of passionate deep French kissing I just hug my dog and deep French kiss his ear!

2. Reading those reviews of passionate sucking of big breasts I just get my squeeze ball and start sucking on it.!

3. Reading those reviews of hot fucking in mish I just get my pink silicone  pussy from Adam and Eve, unzip my pants, pull out my dick and fuck the hell out of that silicone piece!.

Happy New Year everyone!

Do you think *any* review does anything to me at all apart from induce an eye roll, or perhaps a yawn?

I perfectly understand what you are saying.    If I were a moderator reading those escort reviews I would definitely go in to a TM mode, close eyes and imagine it was me doing all that stuff.

Believe me I do read my own reviews some time, just close my eyes, relax and relive those moments.

The poor moderator who has to view and approve every single pic on the Photo Board.

That medal used to be awarded to whichever poor moderator who had to approve all the ads on the Florida board, that and combat pay. This was back when the mods were volunteers and we didn't get paid. They asked me to moderate the Florida board back before Gator Jimmy and Dirty Daego and I not only said no, but HELL FUCKING NO!!! There isn't enough eye bleach in the world to get those images "unburnt" from your memory. and there isn't enough money in the world for me to have ever moderated that board, or the Photo board of today.

I forget which board it was, and keep in mind this was before "ad boards" but I was filling in for someone on vacation and I opened an ad post that put a whole new spin on "I was really scared"

The woman is still providing, so I won't embarrass her "naming names" but she was well over 50 back then and I am sure she is eligible for Social Security by now, but she's still here.

Yes, there are some beautiful women that post on the Photo Board, but there are some things you just can't "unsee" try as you might. lol

Not to speak for my colleagues once again, but...

60k reviews is multiple years' worth and they NEVER stop coming in. The politics board goes hours without posts and only turns into a hellhole for 6-9 months once every 4 years (and even then not consistently) and, when I got to moderate it way more frequently than I do now, it was fine. Sure it's terrible now, but it won't be nearly as bad once a few months have gone by after the inauguration. There are posts on P&R occasionally that are genuinely worth reading and not a tremendous waste of everyone's time (some posters are far more guilty of this than others, naming no names), whereas at this point it has to be something REALLY, REALLY fucking weird for me to sit up and take note in a review. It's just nonstop mundanity. I've seen it all - both literally and figuratively - at this point.

If a poster on P&R gets out of line, bam, they can't post for a month, problem solved. There's what, 10-15 regular posters there? Throwing out the one bad egg from your baker's dozen is very easily done; finding the one bad egg produced by the entire battery farm (fake reviews, manipulation, etc.) is somewhat more Sisyphean. The problem is that on P&R the line between bad egg and good egg is not nearly as clear and distinct as the one there is on the review side; with a review you either fucked up or you didn't with little to no shades of grey, but with a board post, you're trying to make an objective judgement of something utterly amorphous. What's fine for me might not be fine for TERAdmin or BoardAdmin or whoever, and vice versa. That's where the arguments and the sense of injustice in all the plaintive reported posts from that board come from; neglecting the fact that more often than not the person who rejected your dumb post isn't the same person answering your bitching in the report. To be honest I find it hard not to just reject all the reports that are literally just people complaining that their post didn't get approved in the first place - if my colleague didn't approve it I'm sure as hell not going to undermine them by approving it, and all you do in the process by arguing the point is piss me off making me even more unlikely to be cooperative in future, especially over something as meaningless and unimportant as a board post. Seriously, you all need to chill out over there. It really is not nearly as important as some of you guys seem to treat it.

I would take moderating P&R over the review queue in a heartbeat, but hey, that might just be me. Anyway, this post was highly inappropriate for the humor board but I'm not much for one liners (as the diatribe above will attest to), so I guess it'll have to remain so.

I moderated the P&R board for quite some time. It was hardly a "full time" job. I managed to moderate another half dozen boards at the same time and it was nowhere near the work that I imagine approving tens of thousands of reviews must be.

That said, there is a huge disparity in the way the various "admins" moderate the various boards. It's the reason you get bombarded by all those PMs as so many people were used to the consistency that came with having a single moderator or two at the most moderating each TER board. In those days you could get a feel for each moderators "style" and thus know where the lines were and how not to cross them. The way things are done presently, what is ok at 3 PM is very likely not ok at 9PM on the very same day. It's no wonder posters get confused as to what they can and cannot say on the boards.

Basically, the choices are 24/7 moderation (which is what we have) or consistent (i.e. one moderator only) moderation. Can't have both.
