Hey everyone!
I'm new to the site but not new to the hobby! I'm highly favored and verified on various other review boards... but for some reason I can't seem to get the hang of this one!
What is the difference for providers if you upgrade to VIP and if you don't? How many pics are allowed on your ad? Is there a section for you to post pics (photo album)? And most importantly, do I even have a profile yet... or did I read right and you must have a certain amount of reviews to have one...
So many questions! Any & all tips are much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

There are two types of VIP for providers.
The first is no-charge and comes when you get your first review and a profile. (No review, no profile, by the way.) You only need to contact TER Administration and ask for it. It allows you to use the private mail (PM) system and also to read your own review.
The pay VIP allows anyone the same privileges plus allows you to read all reviews. That can come in handy for screening a potential client, and is recommended.
I don't think there is a limit on the number of photos you can have on your ad, but I do recommend that you read the Self Help section (Look for the red and white life preserver.) that is linked on this page, and read up on the rules for posting ads, as well as all the other information on there.
After you read it you will probably have more questions, and we are all here ready to help
Thank you so much! Your feedback is much appreciated. I think I was just so overwhelmed because this isn't the only site I use. So that make's it 10x harder because you're already used to other sites.
I'll just venture around the discussion boards and what not, as well as take your advice and purchase VIP.

The same idea (a single image URL) applies to the Photo Only board. One pic per day.
TER is not a Ad site, per se, so no albums. In fact, TER does not "store" pictures at all!
In order to post a pic, you have to have it stored on an image hosting site, such as imagecoast. The imagecoast URL of your pic is the one that goes into an Ad post, a Photo Only post, or even a regular post like I will do below
Makes sense, so 1 pic per ad. Got it... that's all I really need. 
As far as the (photo only board), can you send me a link to the page? I can't find it.

Hit the main blue tab "Discussion Boards."
Then open the blue drop down "TER General Boards."
Photo Only is #2 after General Discussion.
Read the posting rules! Look thru a bunch of posts to get the general idea. I think it is:
- Subject = name and location (city or cities) only
- NO ADDITIONAL TEXT in the post
- One pic per day
- Each pic can be used once per 30 days? Once per calendar month? I always get this wrong.

but as for posting photos on ad boards (as opposed to the photo only board) I see plenty of gals who post an ad with a photo, then post additional posts under the first ad with more photos, so I am pretty sure a provider can post just about all she wants as long as it's all on one thread.
If I'm wrong, then there are a lot of gals flaunting that rule
The good thing about the Newbie board is both the immediacy of getting a reply to a Q but sometimes it's a little off ... or a lot off. There is also the immediacy of getting the corrections, updates and tweaks to whatever has been posted.
So my peeps have tweaked me again.
Each post has a box for a single URL (link to an image) at the bottom. And as mrfisher and ks-kid point out, and I don't know if it's de jure or de facto either, but there are plenty of ad threads with sequential posts, each with a pic.

...your own ad. There is no hard and fast rule, but TER knows it when they see it. They don't want someone hogging the ad board with 20 replies to her own ad, each with a photo. You can post a few replies but don't get greedy.
