Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I am still trying to get the hang of it all, but the information that you provided was helpful.

Filling out this review form is taking an hour.
A real FAQ and frequent suggestion (to autopopulate) to make reviewing easier. I asked the same thing when I was a newbie.

Open her Profile in one window, your review form in another. Copy and paste. If any of your info is different, enter that (e.g., hair - short vs hair - below shoulders). Your review won't change the Profile immediately, but it can support a future problem report that will change it.

You can take your suggestion about auto-populate or streamline writing reviews to the Suggestion and Policy Board where it will be given due consideration

...open two windows. One on her profile one on the review form. You can copy/paste some things and look at her profile to fill in the rest with the same info. If you put something different from what the profile says it won't change on her profile. The profile is set and can only be changed by filing a Problem Report or contacting Admin.

I recommend you write the details in a word document then copy/paste it into the details area after you've filled in the form. Using Word (or some other word processing software) keeps you from having to have the site open for however long it takes to compose the details.

I always write my review offline and then copy/paste the body into the form...I also keep 2 Windows open with her profile in one while I fill in all the details...

Remember, proofreading is your friend...

of the date. This way the information is fresh. Once I get around to submitting the review, I will paste it into the review form after I have the the fill-in the blanks portion. XYZ said it best; open two browsers and copy from her profile into your review.

Yes, I am also a little confused. This is my second day looking at this. I wonder if it actually works, because it is time consuming to set up. Do I need a VIP membership in order to start my own threads?

...but since you are new to TER all your posts are moderated. Board Admin checks them before they go live. This process causes a time lapse between you hitting the "post message" button and what you posted actually showing up. Give it some time, show TER you can follow the Message Board Posting Guidelines. Then use Contact Us at the bottom of any page to request you be unmoderated. You can look for their response by clicking the "My Feedback" link at the top of the My TER page (My TER tab at the top).

Read the Self-Help Center. Find it by clicking the site map link at the bottom of any page. Look under the Info & Policies heading then click on Self-Help Center. Once you've read it (and their is a lot to read) you can come here to the Newbie Board to ask questions. It's safe to ask on this board. We're here to help.

Welcome

Edited to add:

If you have an ad or web site to link in your posts don't link it in the thread starter. That isn't allowed by TER. You can place the link in any reply you make to the posts of others.

TER admin does reviews that way to discourage fake reviews.   Yeah, it's a pain in the ass, but it's their site, their rules.  What I do is open 2 browsers to TER.  One has the blank review and the other has her profile page.  That makes it much easier to copy and paste, or just copy her profile info into your review.  Since it doesn't change her profile no matter what you put in your review, just copy her current profile.
