A client wanted to make an appointment with me.I asked if he had any references or verification.He said he is rs2K verified.How can I check if he's verified if i don't have an account on rs2k??
An individual verification is $10. You can pay with credit, debit, or gift card.
Go their website, and once you enter, about halfway down the page you will see PROVIDERS
Just underneath that is 'Verification Services". Click on that, fill it out, pay the $10, and you should hear back shortly.

I'm not a provider, but I would not do it, I'd ask for some other verification, but that's just me.

As the OP asked about verifying just one client, I only gave her the info for individual screenings. I didn't want to make it too confusing.
RoomService2000 also has weekly and monthly options, some of which also include advertising on their site. Those are found on the main page, under Advertising Rates.
The Verification Only packages are $10 for an individual screening, 1 week $45, 1 month $80...... and so on.
Weekly and monthly do not have any limits, so you could screen dozens of people quickly for one price.

I noticed that you're based in Chicago from your profile. RS2K is used frequently in the Chicago area and the midwestern region which is why I'm a member. There are a lot of local providers who encourage hobbyist to join RS2K in order to make the verification process easy, especially for new hobbyists and those who may not have recent provider references. There are also some local providers won't see clients, if they are not RS2K verified.
I just thought that this info from a local hobbyist might be helpful for you in the future, since I'm sure you will be encountering more client who use RS2K
