I've just received my first fake review.

What is the burden of proof I have to provide to dispute this? I don't believe this is a person I've ever met, so it's not only fake in the details, but it's also an encounter that never happened.  I only see a very limited number of people because I only do this part-time, and I know exactly who I've seen in Feb/March.  I don't believe anyone that I've seen would write this; most I see are repeat dates, and any new date went very well.  Factually, there is no way my clothes would reek of smoke as I am one of those people who reacts terribly to smoke, and I avoid it at all costs, plus, I'm timely to dates.  I do not drink before a date, and during a date I am only a light drinker if we have wine.  I've already did the "contact us" to TER, but how can I prove I didn't meet this person?

I am involved in a copyright violation dispute (and that person could easily be a hobbyist), and I have also turned people down during the screening process when I don't think we'll be a good fit, but otherwise I can think of no reason for a revenge review.

Fake reviews suck.

Even when they're positive, they just suck.

When they're negative?  They suck rancid donkey dick.

TER will tell you to contact the guy to ask for details verifying whether or not you met.

Now, it's been a few months since I've had to do this, and I've heard that the procedure may have changed a bit for what comes after that step. :-)

But I would get a jump on things and PM this lovely person, being as polite as possible under the circumstances, telling him that you are following TER's instructions by verifying that you have met him.

Let me know if I can be of any further help to you!!

But there really aren't any details in this review that are accurate...
I'm a timely person.
I am an extremely light drinker, and I am sure I'd give a terrible BJ if I were wasted.  I certainly have never shown up to a date after even a drink (or a sip!).
I abhor smoke, probably more than most people out there, and will go out of my way to avoid smoky areas.
Other than my sexual interests, I'm about as vanilla & rule-following as they come.

Plus, I remember every single person I've met (again, I'm new) and this person's details don't fit anyone I've met (from his other reviews, he's in his 40s & from FL).  I mostly meet with repeat clients and only meet a couple of new people in any given month, so it's not like I have a heavy calendar to go through.

Problem reports are for simple changes in the profile. For this she needs to use "contact us" or email. I believe in her OP she said she already used the contact us button.

It would be nice if TER required the writer to produce emails, etc. proving he made a date with you, but that isn't going to happen.

Just state your best case and take it from there.  If you lose, shrug it off and don't go back to TER or they are likely to take down all your reviews

True, I realize someone has 90 days, although sometimes the review is backdated to indicate when the date happened (at least it was for one of my reviews).

However, I am VERY part-time and relatively new, and I know everyone I've seen (as in, ever!). I didn't meet anyone who would remotely fit this date.

this could be verified by checking with your other reviewers.   I hate the smell of smoke...

Edit:  After looking at your site...  besides the fact you are seriously HOT...  I wonder of your offering are not for everyone.  This IS a voyage of discovery...  but if one finds one is not happy at the destination, it's quite possible to give a fair review, learn from the experience, rather than trash the one who is kind enough to guide us there.  In the vanilla world, one could just say "we didn't have chemistry"...  despite our companions best efforts.

I'm super anti-smoking (I'm sure some smokers find me annoyingly so). Imagine someone writing a review of you showing up stinking of smoke; I bet that wouldn't happen, would it? If you hate it as much as I do, you'll go out of your way to avoid smoky areas.  I find too much perfume to be nauseating as well, and even some cleaning products will make me ill.

I screen carefully to try to make sure I'm a good fit (plus I don't play kinky in every date - very sensual is also right up my alley). So far, a little screening has worked to make sure the chemistry has worked (but I'm new, part-time, and probably lucky in that regard).

Thanks for the compliment, btw

...If you're willing to tell TER that you've had four kids and are as big as the Batcave, then they may believe it's a fake review.

Bottom line - you have to have proof.

As someone who has seen Kerri, I can vouch for her being on time, not arriving reeking of smoke or being a heavy drinker. During our absolutely wonderful time together we actually discussed her sensitivity to strong smells and especially smoke. Also, I had a bottle of wine available for us and she did not even finish her entire first glass. Kerri, feel free to share my response with  TER or have them contact me if that will help to delete this bogus review.
