That's been my experience - never gets back to me. I generally send a request for appt then follow up with a txt to let them know a request is out there. Sometimes that doesn't work. Not check email not good for business.
I've had a p4 profile for a few weeks now and I post an "available now" ad Every hour and I never get any appointment requests.Am I doing something wrong?

providers that are available now. I find it weird too.
that's why I always post on bp because I get all my business there

I did backpage it was very ugly and a lot of not good things happened to me. I don't look down on anyone that post there especially a provider that has her own rates and her own website that is different, than advertising someone else getting there and being cancelled or disrespected. I'm not the best provider of the world or anything like that but I will say that I have worked hard to be where I am without ever falling into any addiction. I've seen the underbelly (at my free will but that's a story I'll save if I ever become Ms.TER) of this business, met shady ppl and no one with a smile on their face. So my experiences are probably different than someone that is an established provider.
One reason there are not that many is they only stay up for an hour so need to be reposted.
I myself start with P411 to see who fits my interest at the moment.
I will then check the TER for the reviews to see if I am still interested.
At this point do request often by email, giving my TER Handle , and my P411 ID/
That and an offer to contact references if desired.

I noticed many of the "Available now" listings were from the mid west and CA.
I post on BP as well and have been very fortunate in finding good clients. P411, TER, and BP, they're all an advertising platform for us to use.
you are in Chicago and I am heading out from my home in Philly to my favorite west cost of Florida beach for a while.
When I came to tour in 2014 I pretty much took all my bookings from the site which made my life as a newbie there very easy vis-a-vis screening, but I've put a visiting listing back up for an upcoming tour and haven't had a single enquiry from it as yet. I'm wondering whether the various rumours have made clients more reluctant to use it?
I've never had the nerve to use bp in the US as Inwas warned its where LE look first, but I use it extensively in Australia where it's all legal.
That said, I've had no enquirers from my TER adverts yet either!! Maybe it's me!!
I feel a lot of usefulness as lost whe the specific activity lists were dropped from P411 and then further when the actual provider adds were dropped.
The available now is a small step back on where it was
I agree with OldRanger, losing the activity list really hurt. It was one a really great and useful feature, but do to a change and/or interpretation of the laws in Canada, I understand why the activity list was removed.
Removing the ads and installing Available Now doesn't do much for me either. Although I do find myself checking it out, I don't really see myself actually contacting someone for an appointment because of it. In my brief time in the hobby, all of my sessions have been through advance bookings.
