The hobby has its own cadence like most things and you'll get a better feel for people and things as you have more dates. If you are married and letting her come by I would question your common sense. Now if you don't care then that's another matter altogether. Whatever you do, don't invite someone over because they present themselves as a pretty picture on the 'net. If they don't check out and don't check you out, then you might be aching for a breaking.

stay away from girls who have EROS ads, but do not have any TER reviews. They may still be safe, but they also have a possibilty of being LE. If you see an indy/agency girl that has several pages of TER reviews you should not have a problem. I would also suggest using backchannel to try and verify girls who may not have any reviews. As HZ mentions, "anything can happen". A number of years ago, at the end (fortunately) of a very lovely outcall date, there was a loud knocking at my front door. My "date" thought that it was just her driver reminding her that she had gone over the time limit. After a couple of more goodby hugs and kisses, she opened the door to a uniformed officer.
Seems that a patrol car happened to see the driver asleep in his car. When he couldn't offer a good explanation as to why he was in the neighborhood, they did the handcuff thing and he then told them where his friend was visiting her friend. Fortunately, I was not hassled, and I did call her service to let them know what was happening. So . . . anything can happen! But that was once out of probably more than 100 dates. After that I always ask if they have a driver.
