so, just wondering but what are the rates or chances of contracting any of the STD's if you always wear a condom for intercourse.  Also, for BBBJ's?  I'm sure you've all had moments where you thought about it and I'm just trying to get some input.  Is sex with condoms pretty safe for the most part?  I mean thats sorta obvious, but can you get like AIDS through a condom or dining at the Y or BBBJ? Thanks to anyone that could provide input!!

1) TER is a terrible source for STD information.

2) Do a search and you will see.

3) If you are truely that worried, take up stamp collecting.

In other words, the answers you get here are worth the price paid.  Search the CDC and the like.

Search the threads and the Internet and you will discover that hobbyists have contracted various diseases while "dining at the Y" and also when wearing a condom. If a provided has an infected mouth then you can also contract disease thru BBBJ.  Usually its the typical STD's, clamydia, herpes, warts and not AIDS, though.  Some of these diseases spread easily, others much more difficult.

Also, many providers, especially the foreigners only get tested for AIDS and not other diseases.

And yes, TER is not know for its open and candid discussion of STD's for obvious reasons.

This board will answer all of your questions. http://www.medhelp.org/

TER is a very poor source for answers to STDs. You will get two types of replies. The head in sand type.. "Don't bother me I don't want to know" and the paranoid type.. "You're going to catch all of them, unless you cover everything and don't you dare kiss her either!" As with most things in life ,the truth lies in the middle somewhere.

Ps-One exception is the poster Docinthebox..he will give you the truth.

I know what you mean, not a good site if you are a hypochondriac lol. FYI, the dermatology forum is also a good source to cross reference on the skin related STDs.
