Clarify "flake". Do you mean NCNS?

I don't think you mean just general flakiness during the meeting (late; unprepared; no supplies; upsell; etc.).

Do you specifically mean "no call, no show"? The meeting never took place and she did not contact you (voice, text or email) within a reasonable time before the appointed time.

If general flakiness, you can review. If NCNS, you can't write a review because no meeting (face to face) took place. As mrfisher said, you can  discuss on your local board.

Hello - I am relatively new to the hobby and this website.  I was wondering if there is a way in which we can report ladies who are flakes.  I understand that the reviews won't really handle that because there are no "juicy details".  Unfortunately I have been flaked on a few times and this is a huge waste of my time because I am self-employed, etc. etc.  Any help and guidance is surely appreciated.  thanks for your time

in how you were flaked on.  As impposter said, if you didn't actually have a face to face meeting, you can't write a review.  What you can do is post on your local regional board what happened.  I did that when I got NCNS'd.  However, I did not name the provider publicly, but said if anyone wants her name/handle then can PM me.  Quite a few did that.  That can help avoid a public shitstorm from the provider.

Personally I've never had that problem. That said, it's clearly part of the experience so get over it and move on. Shit happens.

Also, how much research do you do -- and what's the local market like. That may just be how it's going to be where you're at.

Last, be sure you're not making a mountain out of a mole hill. Complaining about a missed/cancelled session and naming the provider is not going to look good to other providers and you can be limiting your options.

Before causing problems for a provider publicly which could come back to bite you.

Just learn a little more.

Providers are people with families and stuff going on just like anybody else. We have a lot of freedom and we can work whenever we want to. If something comes up and we decide to do something else then that is our prerogative.

If somebody flaked on you, it makes sense that you would move on to somebody else but, well, I just agree with the above post

I like this post by Freya and the one above by Jensen to which she referred. I had a provider NCNS a while back. I was really steamed when it happened because we had set up the standard two call where I was to call her from a designated cross streets shortly before the session time. I had driven way across town 40-45 miles. She never answered or called back.

I calmed down by trying to remember two things.

First, I feel like the providers have more to be nervous about than hobbyists. Especially those who work out of their homes as she did.  Maybe I inadvertently said something or just something in my voice that spooked her. I know providers have their own websites & apps to screen/verify clients. From what one lady told me I have a bad review I absolutely didn't earn (never even been to that city for starters). I think some jackass was using an app that changes your number on the caller ID and happened to use my number as his fake. If she got spooked, it's hard to hold it against her. It's not like she could ask me if I'm a nice guy and just believe what I say. A lady who takes herself and her work seriously, who has a good head on her shoulders and takes care of herself, that's the type I'm looking for. How do I get mad at her for following her instincts, even if they happen to be wrong?

The other, much more likely case, is that as Freya noted we all make plans and a lot of times life gets in the way. There's a million things that could've come up that stopped this provider from making the session, again, especially in her home. If she would've just texted me and said omg the dishwasher blew up or my husband or mom or whoever got sick, I would've calmed down and probably tried again another time. I'd have no way to know if it was true or not, but an explanation and apology would've been nice.  It was the totally ignoring my calls that pissed me off. I just have to figure hey, despite the research I did on her, she's a jerk. She got some of my time but I'm glad she didn't get any of my money, and she never will.

Just have to let it go, hazard of the hobby. All my experiences have been good to great to awesome using providers I verified here, except for the one time I tried to repay the community and TOFTT, and it bit me in the ass. Lesson learned.

I'm having the same problem as the OP in certain ways.

She has a couple of really good reviews, but for 2 days, over the course of 6 to 8 hours each day she has strung me along and flaked. It is certainly possible she is worth the effort, but I finally had to just tell her no thanks when several hours after the meet up time (on the second day of BS) she finally started returning calls/texts and I was not only over it, but pretty pissed off as I consider my own time valuable. Even though I finally just turned my attention away, and even though her couple of reviews are very good, the hassle and wasted time and aggravation may not be reflected in the good reviews.

More importantly to the community, she said "no driver, no boyfriend drama". Turns out part of the problem was that her boyfriend WAS her driver. This is blatantly opposed to what her ad said and certainly relevant to those of us who rely on this resource. Her high reviews reflect none of this, and I can't review her because I finally grew so tired and frustrated dealing with her BS that i didn't actually ever have a session.
