All provider applicants are required to submit age verification documentation, although they can cover their name and address if they wish. In the past we didn't require it from those who advertised over the age of 25 years, but that has changed in the past year or so, and we now require it from all providers. We don't care who a provider is in her real life, but we do care that she be a legitimate provider with a decent reputation in the community, who is above the age of 18. +++
All client applicants are verified one of two ways: 1) Two solid provider references. In which case no significant real life information is required. OR 2) Employment verification. Any private information collected during the employment verification process is deleted and destroyed when the account is approved. We don't care who a client is in his real life, we only care that he is a legitimate client with a decent reputation in the community. ++
The uproar a couple of weeks ago was over the fact that we are now requiring providers to put a link back to P411 on their personal websites, if they wish to have a link from P411 to that website. I didn't handle the implementation of that change very well, and a handful of providers flipped their lids about it. Rightly so? I don't know about that, but I did make some adjustments to the policy and things have calmed down... at least until the next "jump on Gina" party! Always,
Gina
