1 these acronyms are driving this new guy nuts! I seem to run into them a lot. Yes I've googled them, Urban Dic them, but they all don't come up IE: OTC, ISO(In search of) has come up but seems to be in a different context. So my question is, best site or way to find out these acronyms?
2 is there a search bar for the site or forums? I haven't found it if there is. I seem to find myself wanting to look for something in a forum and can't look it up. Also, seems like I've read a few times people talking about searching TER. I may be wrong.
Oh yea one more Question. Do we have a profile to fill out here?

Thanks

but it's not comprehensive. The Self-Help Center can be found by scrolling to the bottom of any page and clicking on the site map link found there. Once in the site map look under the Info and Policies heading (this is to the left of Account Manager heading). The Self-Help Center link is listed there. There are other ways to access the Self-Help Center but this one works no matter where you are on the site.

There is a Search bar. It's on the first page of every Discussion board. If you have opened a thread to read a discussion you can't see the Search Button. You have to click the return to Forum button at the bottom of the thread you are reading. Then look to the right for the Buttons labeled Top 10 posters..., Search, New thread, and Overview. Click Search. Fill in the fields and click search. For the Day range just add a zero or two to the 30 that is already there and that should cover it. There is no way to search the entire site. The search I've described for you is for the discussion board only.  You have to do this on each board.

There is no profile to fill out. If you are a provider your profile will be filled out by the first client that submits a review for you. I recommend you read the Self-Help center.

ISO  aka "in search of" means you are searching for a particular type of provider or service and requesting assistance from the members. Providers could be "in search of" a provider for a double, or info on a particular area ISO doesn't refer to searching a board or the site for some topic or idea. Check out the ISO discussion board.

You will get way more than you are looking for in the urban dictionary.  It has far more entries than the 2 lists TER has in the Self Help Center.

BTW (by the way), OTC means Off The Clock, or bonus time you spend with a provider when you have paid for a specific amount of her time.

No, you do not have a profile to fill out here.  What is in your account manager is what you entered when you joined.  It is not set in stone, you can change the information at any time.
