And create a profile on their ad mall, There are even websites that look like personal websites for providers that were created without their knowledge or approval.

What is this? I just found out that I have a profile on there, that I didn't request. And while I guess free advertising might be beneficial, it feels creepy and sleazy, to have someone just put up a profile of me.

I always assumed that the ads on escort directory sites like sugarnights were created by the providers, but your revelation that at least some of these ads were created without the knowledge of the providers explains why some of the website links on the provider profiles redirect to ad sites.

I do agree that it is unsettling to have your internet presence proliferating uncontrollably, especially in a business in which discretion is a top priority.

....you should feel blessed.  In an odd, sort of way.

One site, pulled my information years ago, and I cannot get them to remove my profile.  I have not had one hit on my website through them, so I do not know what their roi could be.

I find it very offensive that sites troll other sites for profiles, and blatantly hijack them.

    Take care, and keep warm!

Warm regards,
Kelly

I had no idea that this was even a thing...it really is quite creepy.
