Deposits are a touchy subject here.

But you have every right to ask and run your business any which way you see fit.

I don't do deposits and I do almost exclusively lengthy sessions, 4 to as many as 8 hours.

I understand it if you are flying in to see someone or if it is a weekend or something like that but typically most men will not send a deposit for an overnighter or less.

Btw, I sent you a pm re: the thread below.

I find google such an unreliable source at times for things such as "Common ways escorts take deposits for bookings."

Then ta-da, a light bulb went off! Why don't I try asking providers and gent's here.

In situations where you require a deposit due to the location and/or duration of the date, what is your most reliable source for taking deposits? And men, what ways have you sent deposits? The ones below I know of, however I do not know of a clear way to hide personal details such as name. Does anyone use CCBill, and if so, is there a way to sign up as an individual rather than a company?

Any suggestions from Gent's and ladies are appreciated!

Square (can you hide your name?)
Paypal (but risky)
GoogleWallet.
Giftrockect, (but often with major delays

Edit: I recall that someone said that Paypal GIFT CARDS are safer for transactions. Regular Paypal is very touchy about transactions for "iffy" services or merchandise.

Wow awesome and I have never heard of such a thing.
Yes bitcoin, although I have not used it yet, MUST ADD TO LIST!

GiftRocket is your best bet. Alternatively, you can accept money orders to a PO Box (just be sure to have it sent via overnight/priority/certified mail so that it's trackable).

Also, if you're an Amazon addict like me, e-gift cards work great for this purpose as well.

Apologies for last night. I informed TER of the pm issues. No clue what was going on there.

Send a pm when you find the time and let's see if the issue has been corrected.

One way or another I will work something out. Sorry for the hassle. :)

and then there are money orders and good old fashion checks.

Of course this is only with gals you know well and trust.

No one mentioned Western Union, but stay away from them.  Their service is poor and also have been unfriendly regarding the hobby in much the same way Pay Pal is.

Too bad the Green Dot Money Pack cards are no more.  They were the best way to send money, but the feds put the kibosh on them.

I've probably used all these methods over the years

Yes, you can hide your personal information on the receipt. I do report any money that comes in through this means though, as I have a couple of other businesses that I can funnel the money through. I usually only require deposits for long weekends, or when I need to book my own travel arrangements, etc. I also like having CC payment available so that if a gentleman in the spur of the moment decides that he would like a longer date with me, it's easy to arrange without him having to run out and get more funds.  The receipt simply says 'health consultation' without any other identifying information.

Thanks so much.

For clients I know, absolutely, I do not require deposits for overnights, but with meeting someone for the first time,  I do require a 15 percent deposit for any date over 4 hours. Nothing major, just if anything were to happen at the last minute, it at least covers the arrangements I had to make in order to be free. Of course if I'm traveling across the country or further, the deposit increases to cover the travel expense. Some of these ideas have been fabulous. Money orders to a PO box....awesome.
Thanks guys for the support. I'm very new to the inner-workings of TER, and so happy to be a part of this place!
