Not all the providers use their provider name as their TER handle. It's possible LydiaK does but we don't know at this point. Lydia's first reviewer will need her provider name in order to review her.

Hi I only have a basic membership and I don't know what my TER ID is. How do I find my TER ID? Also I'm an escort but can't afford the upgrade to post an escort ad. How can I get reviews from my regulars if I can't post an escort ad or find my TER ID?

If someone is asking you for your TER ID, there are three "ID"s to consider:

Account Number
Handle
Profile Number

so there can be some easily resolved ambiguity.

1. Your Account number = your membership number - irrelevant. We all have one associated with our TER account. Forget about it. It's for the TER Admins only. NO ONE ever means your account number when asking for your TER ID.

2. Your TER handle = Lydiak and that's what many people mean by "TER ID" in casual conversation or email. My TER ID / handle = impposter

3. Your TER PROFILE number. For Providers, that is sometimes considered their "TER ID" when someone inquires "What's your TER ID?" they mean "What's your TER Profile #?"

You will not have a PROFILE NUMBER until your first review gets posted. You cannot create your own Profile. Be patient! See other posts with the same Qs.

You can post ads to your local Ad Board at no cost.
You can post your photos to the Photo Only board at no cost.

Read the Self-Help files about posting before diving in. There are a bunch of rules. Ask for advice here if still in doubt.

To get a review posted and a Profile created, you MUST have a web presence: your own website, an ad mall ad (e.g., backpage). BP ads are currently free to post, I think.

...people do indeed throw those terms around sometimes interchangeably.

About the TER ID# for provider's it is listed and identified by TER as the provider's ID number. The field in the review search when you are searching for a particular providers reviews is labeled TER id. Also when you look at a provider's profile her number is just below her provider name and it's labeled TER ID.

Example: TER ID xxxxxx

Meant to also add she will need either a web site or an ad on an ad mall. She doesn't need both though both would certainly be an asset.

Thanks for clarifying. It's definitely a Q that should have a consensus answer and be on the FAQ.

I wish TER would organize the working retreat so we (GaG, p'storm, mrfisher, Debbie, maybe even Roxanne) can all get together and write it up. A week in HI, a week in Costa Rica and a week in LV or LA should do it. (We could probably finish after the CR meeting but I want a free trip to LV so let's be sure to stretch it out a bit.) WHEN IS TER GOING TO APPROVE THIS

I searched reviews for you handle and came up empty.  When you get your first review, admin will give you an ID#.  Your first reviewer does not need an ID# to review you, just your TER handle.  You do not need VIP membership to post an ad.  What you do need it either a personal website or be able to link to your ad on some other site like Backpage.

You should read the self help center, it will answer a lot of your questions.  If you still some help, come back to this forum and ask your questions.  I'm the host of this forum and if you want a private answer, you can PM me.  Once you get a review, you can contact admin and ask to have your profile page linked to your handle, and for limited provider VIP membership.  That will let you read the juicy details of your own reviews, but not those of others, that you will have to pay for.

LLAP,
Swim

...I know it's long but it's useful and you can come back if you need to.

Everyone when they join TER is a basic member. There is no "Provider" membership, provider page, etc. (Even though you may have clicked register as a provider when you signed up [joined].) The way to let others know you are a provider is to post ads on your TER regional ad board, post comments on your regional discussion board (Don’t make these discussion board posts about you like an ad. They will be disallowed. Make them pertinent to the subject.), and participate on the Photo Only board. Check out the Self-Help Center for the guidelines for posting ads and how to post photos on the photo only board. The Self-Help Center link is on the upper right of most of the discussion boards under the red and white life preserver. It’s also at the bottom of the list of Quick Links on the left of the My TER page. See the My TER tab at the top of the page. Read everything there even the stuff for the guys. It's good to know all you can.  You can also find the Self-Help Center by going to the site map. Find that link at the bottom of every page.

You can pay for a VIP membership. It will give you full access to all TER has to offer but it won't distinguish you from any other member. The things I mentioned above and the link spoken about in the next paragraph will do that.  Paying for the VIP  ($30 a month) until you get a review and the free limited Provider VIP is a good idea because you can use the PM system and check out all TER has to offer.

Once a guy has seen you, written a review of you, submitted it to TER, it's been approved, and posted you will have a provider profile page. Your first reviewer will create your profile when he fills out your information. You will then have a TER provider ID number, not before. (You can contact TER and correct anything the guy got wrong on your profile or didn’t know.) Now you can contact TER and request they connect your newly created profile with your TER handle/user name (LydiaK). Contact them using the e-mail you signed up with. Their address is [email protected]. (You can use the “Contact Us” link instead. It’s at the very bottom of the page.) This will give you the free limited provider VIP membership. It will also give you access to the TER PM (private mail) system and allow you to read your reviews in there entirety. TER will place a link which says "See my TER reviews" under your handle whenever you post on a TER board. Guys can click the link and be taken to your profile page and check you out. The provider VIP will also give you access to the provider functions on TER such as being able to white list clients.  There is a Provider's only discussion board. You have to have 3 reviews and establish yourself on the boards then request that TER give you access to it.

If you think you already have reviews here you can search to see. Click the reviews tab at the top of the page. Then click search reviews (just under the reviews tab). Scroll down to the 4th section titled Provider's Contact Information and enter your info. The basics should be enough. That is your provider name, phone number, e-mail, city, and country. Next scroll to the bottom of the page and click the big search button. You will be taken to a page containing the results. If you have reviews your name along with others will be listed down the left margin. Click on your name (in teal colored font) and you will be taken to your profile.

One other bit of information is your posts on any board right now are moderated. TER admin has to check them and approve them before they show up (post). Every new TER member goes through this. After you have posted on the boards for a while you can contact admin using "Contact Us" at the bottom of any page and request to be un-moderated.
