A comment was added to one of the ‘out of control’ threads below that I didn’t want to get lost in the madness.  Without getting into what provoked the comment, I would like to address it specifically.

Post:
” I wouldn't give my personal information to ANYONE that I knew was involved in an illegal activity.  If I gave the impression I was singling out any class of criminal (including us willing participants) that was not my intention.”

There are plenty of bad people who don’t participate in illegal activities, and there are probably even more good people who DO participate in illegal activities!  There are people all over the world who are criminals ONLY because of where they live.  In some cultures people are put to death for the same things other cultures embrace with open arms.  Anything from sexual freedom laws, to drug laws, to laws about religion.   Hell, Nelson Mandela was in jail!  This post was not intended to repeat the debate below, but to say that just because someone is involved in something illegal, doesn’t mean they can’t be trusted.

You make a very valid point. Society thru civil laws and religeous laws have created an enviroment in which almost no person is with out "criminal activity" or "sin".

What did he get for a sentence?  house arrest!  This and guess what, the judge said that he was a really good guy and we should go easy on him 'cause he contributes to society!?   tell that to the young lady.  To make matters worse... when challenged the judge refused to provide any remorse or second thoughts about his decision.

What is our society when some are judged differently than others?  so, givin out my details, hell any gals want them- maybe they will e-mail me, call me and be friends... who knows... but the least of my worries when setting up a meeting is that a REPUTABLE provider is gonna take unfair advantage of poor lil ole green me....   and like the previous poster, not all in churches are saints and all the saints don't go to church!

Be safe.

Name the song which contained that line and the artist who performed it.

Hints:

Richard Nixon was president when the album was released in November, 1969.

The lyrics to the song contain the word "fuck" -- twice! Once as a verb and once as part of the compound word "motherfucker." This was the first time the f-word was contained on an album released by a major US record label. (Three years before George Carlin's "Seven Dirty Words" was released.)

Before the album was released, the song - uncensored - was performed on the Dick Cavett Show on 8/11/69. This was the first time the f-word was heard on US broadcast television. (Like there was some kind of television other than broadcast in 1969 - duh.)

So, Name that Tune

First prize ... and evening with ... oh, never mind

"We are obscene lawless hideous dangerous dirty violent and young/But we should be together."

Still have my old vinyl copy....

------------
Full lyrics:

We can be together
Ah you and me
We should be together
We are all outlaws in the eyes of america
In order to survive we steal cheat lie forge fuck hide and deal
We are obscene lawless hideous dangerous dirty violent and young
But we should be together
Come on all you people standing around
Our life’s too fine to let it die and
We can be together
All your private property is
Target for your enemy
And your enemy is
We
We are forces of chaos and anarchy
Everything they say we are we are
And we are very
Proud of ourselves
Up against the wall
Up against the wall motherfucker
Tear down the walls
Tear down the walls
Come on now together
Get it on together
Everybody together
We should be together
We should be together my friends
We can be together
We will be
We must begin here and now
A new continent of earth and fire
Come on now gettin higher and higher
Tear down the walls
Tear down the walls
Tear down the walls
Won’t you try

...the United States was LBJ.  (Remember that scar!)  Oh, and by the way, Miki, you're my sweetie!  LOVE to ignite you....

Some things are so widely accepted as criminal, nobody should need a law to know.   I don't want to hear anybody saying that driving an airplane into a building is an equally valid expression, or that there's no laws against organizing murder of people based on their race.

Others are regulatory, like building codes and traffic regs, and not truly criminal.  You won't go to jail for these in most cases.

And there's gray areas.   Life is easy.  All you have to do is guess right every time.
