While the majority of providers don't care, some have told me that I SHOULD feel guilty for being with them!  And some providers just don't feel right knowing they're with a married man.  Obviously, this presents an uncomfortable session.  So, I never wear my ring (thus I never have to worry about leaving it).  While, I don't have a ring indention on my finger b/c it's off so much (other reasons besides this hobby), I don't lie IF I'm asked.  However, it burned me that a couple got on their high horse about it.  What made their hipocrisy worse is that neither refused to have sex with me.  Bottom line: leave your ring on (esp. if you have a ring indention) b/c most providers don't care.  However, be prepared for those that do...

wear their wedding ring or do you take it off before the appointment?

I leave it on.  All you have to do is forget it one time and you can forget finding forever.

Besides the Provider is dating you, not your SO.

In the days of being married and unfaithful via occasional hobbying I figured it's best to leave the ring on so you know you won't lose it or forget to put it back on before arriving home. There VERY few providers who discriminate because you're married.

I always wear it - provider or not.
Honesty is the best policy.
If it's a provider, they understand that discretion is even more important. I've had them check me for makeup, loose hair, etc.
If it's anyone else - you don't hear, "Why didn't you tell me you are married?"

Actually, many ladies will consider you safer if you are married.

and made a comment about me being married.  I got the feeling she wasn't judging me.  But why make the comment at all?

Ciara is right - I have yet to run into a provider who cares.  We all realize we have our lives outside of the hobby.

Junior the last time I went to church I entered the wrong room and found the preachers wife playing with herself so I offered to help her.

So while the Preacher was preaching being faithful I was screwing his wife since he was ignoring her needs.

Since I've never been married it has not been a problem.

It's really none of our bees wax if you're married or not, IMHO.

I have seen both guys with rings or without. For me it don't matter if you have it on or not.
