No need to apologize Mr. SD .... I was all too glad to post my pictures for people to see the physical changes I've gone through and continue to go through.

As for the comments, one, I've heard and dealt with far worse in my time ... and two ... if others feel good by putting people down; how sad their lives must truly be.

You can see my before and after pics on Sassy Sinful Lady's website, at the direct link listed below.

...my only concerns are: how to avoid seeing this in sight in person AND; who the hell paid for the operation (not possible at $6.50 Disney money - {checks State medicaid deductions from payroll slip}

Smelly,
This is very real, obviously too real for you to handle. My life has been hell, being very obese all my life, living in a sheltered existence, not knowing love, or friendship. This board and the hobby gave me hope to go on when I needed it most. For those that have offered encouragment and support I am eternally grateful.

Next time you're speechless, I suggest you stay that way and keep any comments to yourself. Especially when you know nothing of the poster's history.

after going through the surgery, and dropping such an amazing amount of weight!

Where you deserve even more praise is for posting you’re before and after pics here, something which I know you did partly to encourage others with weight problems, and show them what can be done if you set your mind to it.

Most likely anyone who has anything mean to say to you here has never gone through the agony of long-term dieting, or as belly that needs to be put on a diet RIGHT NOW!!
Keep up the good work, you should be very proud indeed!

Smelly and junior continually post crass comments
on the NY board.  Most of the time it's just
sophomoric bathroom humor.  In this case it
offends.

Smelly in particular has an anti-large person
bias and posts nasty messages about visitiing
BBWs on the NY board.  He uses an alias thinking
that people don't know it's him.

Good luck with your transformation!

There will always be some dick heads in the crowd.

I applaud you for taking action to improve your life Jimbo. Losing weight is very hard to do (with or without surgery) so keep it up and you'll be fighting the ladies off w/ a stick!

Can you tell me what was the matter with my post? Someone asked a question and I answered it to the best of my knowledge.

Please point out where my post left you with the impression I was being a dick-head.

Sometimes you're a dick-head, but not today.

My experience with those who insist on being so hatelful has made me feel sorry for them..they are so miserable inside the only way they feel better is to degrade someone else. Funny thing is most times these kind of people will only run their mouths when they think they are at least semi-anonymous. But, put that person in a social situation and face to face with someone they have made nasty remarks towards on a board and lo and behold... they are cordial. Personally, I'd rather they not even bother speak to me...one thing I absolutely can't stand is a two faced azzhole.

Jimbo, there are alot more people happy for your success than there are jerkoffs who just like to run their mouths. Congratulations...it does take a brave person to put themselves out there as you have. My best wishes for your continued success!

How do you deal with all that extra skin and how can you afford to hobby on Disney pay?

The extra skin isn't too much of a problem right now, but I am a walking tummy tuck waiting to happen.

As stated in my post, I'm no longer at Disney. I work at Red Lobster now. How I afford things is diversifying my income, i.e. eBay, flea markets, etc. Not that it's anyone's business.

about encouraging you to post pics.  I should have known that there would be children on here that felt it necessary to act like children.  Pay no attention to them, and thank you for sharing.  Most people have no idea what you have gone through.

For those of us who remember this board when it was in its prime (which was not that long ago):

"All in all, it's just another brick in the wall"

Yes, it was serious post. MSD and I asked Jimbo to post a couple pictures so we could see his progress when he posted yesterday about how he had been.

Jimbo used to post here regularly.... back when it was acceptable to talk about things that seem to be looked down on now, and had brought this to the board before he had his operation asking for opinions and advice on things.

Damn good memory Jockey, it was late spring of 2003 that I first came around for advice, and not only got it; but more support from people on these boards than from people on weight loss boards!

Go figure.
