I feel it is TMI for my medical records (the frequency of testing and my response). He is not a gyno anyways. I like to support both Planned Parenthood and my local community health center, I am as anonymous as I care to be with either of them.
I have the full gammut of tests - pap, oral, urine and blood. +/- $800 at PP, $300 at the clinic... I'm sure prices would vary tremendously depending on where you are as well.
Invariably someone at the clinic likes to ask, "Why do you want to do this all again?" My response is simply that I like sex, have multiple partners, and am paying cash. 'Nuff said.

I personal thought everyone did every 3 monthes. But have learned different. Anyways , I pay a copay so don't know the cost. Ask for a complete std work up.
I just combine it every 3 months with the visit to get my depo shots and have insurance that covers most so have no idea how much total is I have him do a full workup on everything out there as I told him.

Just the opposite. It is to bring closure to this phase. No waking up in the middle of the night wondering if I gave my wife an STD. I can bang her with a clear conscience.
