I read your rant and now your apology and, like BSD, I'm confused.  I think your problem from the get-go was that you were on one board ranting about another, and since I don't know the other board, its rules, etc., I basically couldn't figure out what the hell was going on, and whether I agreed or disagreed.

As for TER, I agree what I think you said in your prior post that open debate is a strength of the TER board.  In other words, it is generally better for posters to bash each other in public than for moderators to censor, although there have to be some limits (eg, no flaming) to maintain civility.  Plus, as I've said elsewhere, I'm not sure that public comments about providers which are unrelated to their performance are appropriate or necessary on TER, so I would be in favor of limited rules against such posts.  

As for your mea culpa, my advice would be to play one board at a time, and not to waste too much time comparing what may be apples and oranges.  Of course, you are entitled to your preferences, but I for one am not interested in reading or writing posts comparing TER to other boards.  If I'm curious I'll let my fingers do the walking.

Meat, what vegitarians eat when they cheat.  IMHO, nothing wrong with lively debate as long as information is accurate and there are no personal attacks.

My guess is it's gotta taste like chicken.
