They Can cover up their addresses but their names must be visible.

...the screening is necessarily less stringent. Many providers simply won't see newbies. Newbie Friendly ones will. They will likely want your name, phone number, and employment info. She may want other information though I have no way of knowing what. Each provider has method that works for her. You have to decide if you're willing to give that. Since newbies don't have references the provider needs some way to verify you are who you say you are.
Everything you are saying is correct. I also have provider friends that won't see newbies just because newbies are usually very shy and don't know the proper manners, so it requires an open mind and patience. Some providers want to cater to men that have done this a few times vs. breaking one in.

I would say both. Some providers don't want to deal with newbies because they don't have the proper references and others just don't want to deal with the hassle of a newbie...think of it this way. Breaking in a virgin, or teaching you all the rules what you can say and can't. Anal being an extra, ect, things like that. Some providers just don't want to deal with it and others want to hear from another provider how it went before seeing you.

I am newbie friendly and every situation is different.
I would suggest reaching out to the providers who are newbie friendly and ask what their screening requirements are.
As a newbie with no references I have been screened via one of three methods:
1) Email from a work email address.
2) Picture of ID (license, passport, etc...) and/or work badge (Don't forget to blank out all information except for name).
3) Link to work directory, LinkedIn, or Facebook.
As xyz23 said, "you have to decide if you're willing to give that". Once you have two references I am assuming screening is much smoother and less personally invasive.
