END OF MESSAGE

This has never happened to me before that's why it's going here, in Newbieville lol.

I've been wanting (lusting) to see a certain provider since last MARCH.  I never took the plunge until the last couple of months.  I don't know why I waited but I think I do now.

About 2 1/2 months I scheduled a date with her but few days before she cancelled due personal reasons.  No problem!  She was very apologetic.  About a month ago I rescheduled.  The morning of the appointment she cancelled because of illness.  I understand that, too.  About a week ago I scheduled another date for today...it WAS all set....until she just emailed me saying she has to cancel yet again because her sitter called and cancelled.  WTF?!

I'm a very patient and understanding guy but right now I'm disappointed, frustrated, a little hurt and a little bit ticked off.
I have today off from work. I re-arranged and cancelled some of my plans to make this work and now another cancel!

Got all excited and horned up for nothing!

Maybe I'll hop on my IPad and look up one of those $80 special girls lol

The bottom line is if the situation were reversed, she would not have been very kind to you on the third cancellation (she'd probably be downright angry). I am not even sure she would have been kind to you on the second cancellation either (life happens, and we all understand a first time cancellation by either party).

Either this provider has an incredibly bad luck on the day of your appointments (not likely 3 times) or for whatever reason, she doesn't want to schedule with you. But if its the latter, then she shouldn't accept your appointment in the first place.

I think 3 cancellations is a strong indication that you need to move on. I understand that this provider matches your physical preference, but NO provider is worth this much aggravation. She is not worth your time or effort...

Even worse would be "NCNS" = "no call, no show" which would have left you hanging around twiddling your thumbs wasting even more of your time.

You can't review an NCNS or a late cancellation because no meeting took place.  You can post your experience to your local board and let other PM you for her name / ID.

From your reviews, you appear to be in an area where there are some other options (good agencies and what not) so you might not need to search the bottom of the barrel.

Back to the original problem: Move on. Don't bother to call again. If she contacts you and asks to meet up again ... yeah, right. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool a fourth time, shame on me.

Good luck.

I'll give a provider a second chance after she cancels. But a third chance, never.

a deal of perhaps extra time or a financial discount. The 2nd cancellation should have gotten you more benefits. Not sure why you scheduled a 3rd attempt.

Move on--plenty of fish in the sea

Yah...you'd expect a provider to MAYBE offer something but nope, nada!  I'm definitely moving on ( tonight to be exact) lol
What would happen if we, the hobbyists, did that to a provider?  All hell would probably break loose lol

D.

You should had taken a hint after the first cancellation without some sorts of incentives on the next appointment, let a lone 3 cancellations. Lesson learned and strip the junior a rank or two, I say. lol
