There is some Profile info that is relevant or irrelevant to the hobbiest's best interest.  I think it's perfectly OK to request changes or additions to Profile info especially if it is relevant to the client's experience.

Some info is just plain right or wrong. Her ad says "27 yo", her profile says "21-25" so that's an easy, indisputable fix to "26-30.  You don't have to see the Provider or review her to report that.

When her ad says "24" and her Profile says 21-25 but her reviews from 6 years ago say stuff like "she told me she was 22 but she looked older" then that can justify a change to 26-30 that the Provider might protest: "My ads say I'm 24, so it must be true."  In that case, it is a service to others to change the Profile to reflect something closer to her true age, or at least a more sensible minimum.  Sorry, Provider, you can argue all you want, but you can't be on TER for 8 years and still be 24!  (I think there was such a recent case involving a former Miss TER from LA.)

Sometimes, a Provider tries to hide something negative with a name change.  First she was Mary with several bad reviews so she changes her name to Susie and gets a new Profile (name and ID number). Someone reports that old Mary is new Susie (same pics, phone) and wants to let us peeps know that Susie is Mary and is possibly bad news. That change is allowed. Susie's Profile becomes "Susie / Mary."

If someone is advertising under multiple names, and someone submits the ads as proof, then those additional names can be added to her Profile. Otherwise, why the need for multiple ad names?

There are also some legitimate and innocent reasons to ask for a name change or to block a name change or name addition. In your case, I didn't know about the extra names. Weren't you originally just "TS Sasha"?

TER already allows Providers to freeze SOME info so it can't be changed by a Problem Report.  ("In the US, I'm Mary but in Europe I'm Suzette.")

So ... I think that there already is a filter, of sorts, on some fields. There is another filter -- the humans at TER who review Problem Reports.  And you can also appeal to TER to change parts of your Profile to suit you. No guarantees you will win the appeal, but you can try.

Could ter add a filter so people don't just submit changes to my profile such as name? I understand the reviewers have certain options when they are writing reviews. But I have noticed a trend where people submit changes to profiles without actually reviewing the provider In exchange for VIP days.

Please at least consult with the provider when it's a major change like the name of the provider or contact information.

Unfortunately TER will not change some things even with proof.
I have contacted TER asking to change a providers claim of "really bi" to "not really into it" based on my own email contact with her where she openly admitted to not being really bi...basically I had written proof. But TER came back and said that as long as she had some doubles reviews it would stand. What bullshit. I lost alot of faith in TER's judgement after that one.

It has always been the case where any TER member can submit a problem report. It has nothing to do with reviews, and the person submitting the problem report does not have to have seen the provider. However they do need proof for the problem report. Now if a provider goes around changing her name and contact info every week, why shouldn't it be reflected in the profile?
