I never expect to be a prodigious review writer but I finally popped my review writing cherry.  Just hit submit a few minutes ago!

I would likely write more or at least more timely reviews if the fields auto populated.
Cut/paste with an iPad is not handy.

I believe all or most of new autofill stuff defaults to the existing in any case.
All fields can then be edited and post to admin for approval.

When in the providers page there is a review provider button.
IMHO when pressed all fields should auto populate except for obvious detail sections.
Having to re-enter all is time consuming and more exposure to SO. "Hey what are you doing over there?" LOL
15 days is cool but...

Is there a way I am missing?
What do others do? Retype and C/P?

Thx in advance,

and the answer is always the :

No

The reason, ostensibly, is that TER wants to screen out reviewers who are not all that committed to writing reviews, and they figure that compelling the reviewer to take the few minutes to fill out the information found on the provider's profile a good way to separate those who are committed from the rest.

Love it or hate it, that's the way it is

....by not auto filling it does make me stop and think about what I experienced and I then I fill it out as best I can. I suspect that an autofill would meet with alot of laziness on the part of many reviewers who would never change anything.

But with no evidence that any changes made are ever actually reflected in her profile does make the process not only tedious but futile and useless as well.

First of all, I agree about it being a PITA.

Then, I think that those of us willing to pay would write MORE reviews if it wasn't such a PITA.  It's the cheapskates who usually have the extra time to write fake reviews to get their 15 days.

Then there is my delusion: That TER actually keeps a computer record of the COMPLETE review, including Profile info.  Although a reviews alone won't change the Profile info, if someone submits a Problem Report, I am imagining that TER can check the unpublished details of recent reviews and see that, yes, she is now enhanced or, yes, that service is YMMV and so on.

Yeah ... I've been asking about auto-populate for years.
