At what age do you stop being uninhibited & open minded?

As a mature lady in the prime of her life. I prefer and enjoy mature men. As they know how to adore. appreciate. and desire a woman and do so w/o the use of words.  Mature men are special in that way.

But what I've come to find, is that some (not all)....are set in their ways. They don't explore beyond the norm. They don't allow themselves to be uninhibited/open minded (no I'm not talking about anything drastic/painful etc). Rather exploring & enjoying beyond the vanilla pleasures that become a basic norm for so many.

So at what *age* in life do you stop being open minded/uninhibited? And why?

I think that at every age, the most important aspect to happiness is to be and do what they like to do. It really is okay to come to a level of enjoyment where vanilla is ok, a little bit spicy is ok, a little unusual is ok....it is all just where your comfort level is. It is not where the 'world' tells you that you should be or what you should enjoy.
Nothing wrong with a long cuddle or a long conversation over dinner. Nothing wrong with an hour long bj or a ride to the shore....etc etc etc
Oh yes, and maybe a person has already done all the wild uninhibited/open minded stuff and now they want vanilla ~~~~ just my 2cents :

I agree on all points you mentioned.

But the question doesn't reflect *being the hobby* or whether or not they've *done all the wild stuff in the past nor whether or not cuddling & long conversation is good. We all know it is.

Rather when do men stop being open mined & uninhibited? If they never allowed themselves to do so. Then what kept them from it?

This is a good venue for the shy and timid men to open up and share.....that way women have a better understanding...

Because one thing I know that I personally don't feel comfortable with....is wanting to explore beyond the norm......only to find out "it's TOO intimidating for someone...or it's too *bad* in the sense of EWW...
I don't want to try that or that".....

(and yes, I've heard it put that way by some *mature men*.)

I look forward to hearing from the men.....share those thoughts. ;)

I became closed minded and inhibited around the age of 63. I'm 64 now.

At my age (81), my mind is still open and I have no inhibitions but my body does LOL

And that's where.....(in my minds eye)....when your body can't reciprocate what your thoughts want to enjoy.....you bring in others and enjoy the voyeurism through them.

But that's just my thoughts........;)

And I appreciate your thoughts, but even though some parts of my body can't join the fun, other parts can. LOL. Where there's the will, there's a way

i think most of us become less inhibited as we age..we are willing to try things now we would never try when we were younger..these fabulous women we meet are our guides to pleasure and enjoyment..i personally have enjoyed things i would never dreamed of when i was younger..your partner's willingness to try new and sensual twists always make you a better lover..

Like a fine wine I only get better with time!

Always willing to try new things.  Not into pain, but exploring is fun.

I think that, as I have aged, I have become older, I have become MORE open-minded.  Since I turned 55, I have:

1. Participated in group swinger parties as a single guy;

2. Gone to numerous FKKs (nudist) brothels in Europe and have deon some incredibly adventurous things;

3. Visited a couple of German FKKs that offer BBFS -- Am I nuts, or what?

As I age, I find that I am having increasing problems with ED.  I'm not really into drugs, but, I wonder why it's crazy that I can't "perform" as I'd like.

So, the bottom line is that we don't become mentally uninhibited & open minded.  We become physically unable to show that we are ready for action.

I became less inhibited and much more open minded when I started logging on to TER and participating in the hobby six years ago in my late fifties.  My remaining inhibitions were swept away when I started participating in group sex as a single male attending swinger clubs.

I hope that I never stop being open minded/uninhibited, but at some point my body may not be able to do what my mind would like to do.
