If it's his first review, it probably won't be approved because...

...TER rarely allows first-time reviews of providers who have no reviews.

And I hate to burst your bubble, but there are some guys who SAY that they will write a review but never do.

I have had a recent visit with a gentleman who sent me an email Friday telling me that he had put in a review of our visit. Does TER automatically assign my TER ID number once they review his review? Do I need to contact them about the review he submitted? Any idea of how long it takes for a review to process, and for me to get my number finally?  I have not heard anything from TER regarding the review and don't see it if I search myself.
Thank you in advanc

Your TER ID# will be at the top of your profile under your name.

No, you don't need to contact TER about the review.  TER's standard answer for how long it takes them to do something is 72 hours. I've had reviews approved and posted in less than 24 hours and I've had them take a week. You just never know.

TER won't notify you once the review is posted.

Once the review is posted if anything in your profile needs to be corrected you can click on the report a problem button (it will be on your profile) and tell TER what needs to be corrected. Look for their response by clicking "My Problem Reports" at the top of the My TER page. (See My TER tab at top of page.) You can use "Contact Us" for this too. Their response for Contact Us is in My Feedback also on the My TER page.

Don't forget to contact TER once the review is posted and request they connect your newly created profile with your TER handle/user name (BrooklynKallway). Contact them using the e-mail you signed up with. Their address is [email protected]. (You can use the “Contact Us” link instead. It’s at the very bottom of the page.) This will give you the free limited provider VIP membership. It will also give you access to the TER PM (private mail) system and allow you to read your reviews in there entirety. TER will place a link which says "See my TER reviews" under your handle whenever you post on a TER board. Guys can click the link and be taken to your profile page and check you out.

Here's how to search for your reviews to check and see if it's posted yet.

Click the reviews tab at the top of the page. Then click search reviews (just under the reviews tab). Scroll down to the 4th section titled Provider's Contact Information and enter your info. The basics should be enough. That is your provider name, phone number, e-mail, city, and country. Next scroll to the bottom of the page and click the big search button. You will be taken to a page containing the results. If you have reviews your name along with others will be listed down the left margin. Click on your name (in teal colored font) and you will be taken to your profile.

Hope this helped.

...enough.  Her review will be at the top of the "Brooklyns" since it would be one of the most recent reviews.  The city of the provider is listed so she could easily pick out which Brooklyn she is.

There's no guarantee the reviewer got the phone number, e-mail and especially the city correct.  If the search does not match the info exactly no results will be found.  I'm afraid you are "defanately" giving reviewers too much credit.  OK, that's enough, I'm going to hold my "tounge."

That's a great reply, and very easy for new providers to understand.
Thank you for taking the time 😊

It's not his first review, he is a long time hobbyist, however he has had several handles here and
told me he always forgets his emails and handles.... I have seen him twice since April, he tried to do a review after the first time, but the handle confusion was an issue. After our second visit, he said he would do a brand new one. He was the one who brought it up, and asked during second visit if I had seen it. I think he's sincere in his effort to follow through, but alas, we shall see 😉
Maybe I should be a bit more cynical here Big Papasan, but I usually have an excellent bullshit radar. 😉
