Can anyone tell me what ter has done to protect personal info they require for online payment of VIP membership in lieu of the Ashley Madison hacking?
Does ter delete the personal info immediately after the credit card process takes placed?
Have they taken other measures?
Seems many have to be wondering the same thing. Sorry if ter has addressed this already and if they did, if someone can point me to that response I would appreciate it.

...They have since removed that board. They didn't really address hacking. Another poster had a comment and question. There is no way that I know of to access that thread. There haven't been any other answers from TER as far as I know.
Would seem to just make good business sense to put current and potential customers minds at ease, as best they can. Telling us what happens with our personal info and an update on what additional protections they have taken, or plan to take, again in light of the AM incident, would seem to be warranted.

On p411, you don't have to use a personally identifiable credit card.
The registration info didn't seem too incriminating to me. Just my opinion
