so I would say you did everything right. This is common shit that happens to all of us and a back-up plan is always advisable.

I am new to all this so I am sure I did something wrong can anyone point it out so I do not do it again?
Wife going out of town for the weekend and I have been checking out TER for a while and decide that it would be a good time to try and live out a fantasy .
Did a search in my area (a valley north of L.A.) for providers I find this cute little Asian thing real close between work and home PERFECT!!! On Tue. I call her and leave a message she calls me back we talk she seems real nice she tells me the rate and tells me to email her to confirm. (did not have her email before this).
She even calls back later and we chat some more and she seems very sweet and nice again. So I email her and say that Fri. night after work would be great. Now I am real happy thinking I am finally going to get to be with a cute little Asian thing (always a fantasy of mine) And then nothing, no email no response, Wed comes and goes no response. So Thu. I leave another message saying that I was curious if we were on for Fri or not. Nothing.
So Fri. I check TER for other providers in my area code and find one a little older and not Asian. (now wife is gone and I am curious to try this whole thing.) I email her she emails back pretty quick we exchange a few emails and set an Apt for that night. I go see her everything goes very well.
So what did I do wrong with the first one? Is it common for them to just not get back to you?
Sorry if this was too long for my first post but I really am new to this and I would like to know if I did something wrong and not do it again plus someday I would like to fulfill my fantasy .

Kinda hard to say. While you gave us good details on your personnel situation, you didn't give details of what was actually said in your emails. Perhaps you didn't do anything wrong at all. Perhaps, you wrote something that she found objectionable?

Totally agree with Smarty1101.
You said Friday night. A big night for some providers. This lady may habe gotten a better gig like a bachelor party or something. Or a regular client who asked her to stand by. In that case, YOU might have been HER backup plan. So she didn't get back to you just in case her other gig didn't come off. Remember it works both ways, a lot of guys get cold feet and stand up a provider. If you indicated you were a first timer she might have had previous bad experiences with first timers getting cold feet.
Go with Smarty1101's advice. ALWAYS have a backup plan.

As for my email to her it was excatly what she asked me to send her, conformation of the time and donation we spoke of nothing more nothing less. I kept it simple and used careful wording as her email addy may or may not have been correct and I wanted to make it was the correct person before I got too detailed.
Oh well wife comes home TMRW so it will be a while before I get another shot hopefully by then another asain provider will pop up in my area.

A backup plan is good advice. Just be sure that the plan doesn't leave somebody else hanging. What goes around comes around, and you don't want to be known as a no-show. Besides, it's kinda rude.
Yes good point. I should've added that. The assumption is that a backup plan means that you have the phone numbers of other ladies that are on your hit list. I hope it didn't come across that I'm suggesting you'd book multiple appointments. That wouldn't be right either.
When I go to a city, I have at least 3-5 ladies who's phone number's I keep handy. I rank them in order of preference. If my top pick whigs out for whatever reason, I try a recovery session with one of the other ladies. But I would never double book. As Acidom states, That will eventually get arround and get back to you.
In fact, there's an escort BLOG out there that's growing and ladies are starting to post descriptions(not names) of hobbyists that stand them up or have other problems. Sort've like a reverse TER.

Its not in may nature stand people up anyway, although I have never been able to figure this out but for some reason "Dude I Flaked" seems to get people off the hook in L.A.
No place else that I have ever lived has that been OK.
Anyway I guess I got flaked on by the first one and will try hard to never flake on anyone, provider or not.

Not to worry, we have all had the blues on these issues. Sometimes the back-up does not work either and there we are again with dick-in-hand and no party.
