Some will schedule, some will not. I'd assume it'd be more likely if you want multi-hour. But then on the flip of that they might as for some type of payment up front to make sure you're serious. Which many hobbyists are uncomfortable with. This aspect seems to be an ugly 2-way street. Some sites are also better for pre-booking than others in general, but it's not always the case. But if they DO schedule, remind them say the day before to confirm ("Really excited to see u tomorrow!), then even a couple hours before (Just got in and cleaned up, we're still ok for so-and-so time, right?), and then right before you leave to meet them (I'll be there in 30 minutes. Do you need anything?). That's not being annoying, that's just letting her know you're serious and when she responds, she's letting you know she's good to go!
