60 and Over

Age

When I get down about being in mid 60s and not 40s, I remember what the alternative is.

I woke up early this AM, saw pink clouds, grabbed my camera and started walking my back yard, faces due East, taking pictures, enjoying coll temps for a change, 60F at 6AM, and enjoyed the sunligh when old Sole poked his head above the mountains; loved the blue sky, low humidity and how the sun low in the sky lit some of the desert plants here with an orangeish-yellow glow,

It was a great moment to still be alive and outside.

Heard this phrase today and thought I would share:

"Age is a question of mind over matter. If you don't mind, it doesn't matter."

My personal answer when asked my age has always been:

Old enough to know better and young enough to still do it.

How do you feel about age?

Well, I don't like getting older but I'm not interested in the alternative.   I believe that staying in good shape is the key.  I go through cycles of getting good exercise and others when work gets busy and stressful.  I don't take the time to go to the gym and gain some weight and that's when I feel the worst about being 63.  The trouble is that getting back in shape gets harder and harder and losing fitness gets easier and easier.  I avoid trying to look younger, no comb-over for me and I never wear a baseball cap backwards.  I prefer to see the MILF-type providers, the younger ones really make me feel older.

Age and experience trumps youth and exuberance every time!!  That goes for my point of view about myself and the providers I see.

I might grow younger; but it hasn't worked out quite that way.

Nevertheless, every now and then I meet a gal who is like a fountain of youth, at least for a few hours.

We have time to grow old.

At 81 I have some age-related problems and one is 19 to around 28 year old playmates make me feel I am a child molester. I have granddaughters that old. I prefer the more experienced ladies and I think they accept what I have to offer--experience,  respect, manners, and acceptance of their life style.

...I do not wish to be younger. I enjoy being me at this age. And I enjoy men who are mature, too!
Now, if that saying "if only I knew then what I knew now" could actually happen, that may be a different story

I'm reminded of the line from Bob Seeger: "Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then."

... that I still do all the same stupid stuff, but at my age I know I making a fool of myself.

I love the providers out here.  As one poster said (Curley W?), you make me feel like a combination of John Holmes and Channing Tatum.  But...  then I look in the mirror and that comes crashing down!

Mentally I still feel in my twenties (though, admittedly, wiser). Physically I've got some aches and pains. At age 66, stairs are harder to climb, and I'm less flexible in bed and elsewhere.

Emotionally I'm so glad that providers at least seem to accept me as I am and do not make an issue of my age or my limitations. You girls rock!

Fifty now but I think I in my thirties:-) Sometimes reality reminds me but not very often. I perfer a more mature playmate. At this point in life we have learned to relax and enjoy. I feel more sexual than I did in my twenties:-)
