The trouble is that sack of shit is probably reading these boards. Does anyone know whether it was connected to the hobby? Someone post a way to send a memorium to her family? Did she have children?

I am very very sad to report to all of the ladies as well as the gentlemen that Cheryl of Chicago was murdered last week Wednesday.  I just found out yesterday and was told that it was ok to post this.

I can go into details with all of you, but would prefer to do it either via email or phone.

I am hoping within the next few weeks to hold a memorial service for Cheryl.  I am deeply saddened by this as most of you can imagine.

If ladies who knew who .... or gentlemen who have seen her, please call me or email me it would be very much appreciated.

My phone has been ringing off the hook lately and is busy quite a bit.  But, please just keep trying.

Kelly Shannon

Can you post some general details about what happened?  Maybe let us know if there have been reports of this in the newspapers or other media outlets?  It might save you from having to answer dozens of email messages and repeat the story over and over on the phone.  Many of us who do not know you, may not be comfortable with contacting you to get specifics.

Thank you for at least posting this much.  This is very sad news.

I knew Cheryl, albeit briefly.  A true free spirit.  What a shame.
I echo the previous poster's suggestion.  A short summary of the facts would help us all.  Many of us would like to know if there's anything we can do.

That's terrible! I just saw her site and read her reviews--very nice. A great loss.

Please keep us in the loop so to speak as much as you can Kelly. It would be greatly appreciated.

Cheryl was the first lady I saw when I re-entered the hobby, and while we hadn't spent any time together latey, we kept in touch thru email.

She was a wonderful companion with a warm heart, and will be missed. Perhaps we'll be lucky enough to have our paths cross once again in the next life.

Kelly,

I am very saddened by this news.  I feel badly for Cheryl's family mostly because its hard enough to lose someone, but when it happens around a holiday.. it is even tougher.  Somehow the holiday is never the same for those who survive the loss.

As we all spend time in the company of those we love at Thanksgiving, we should give thanks that we have our family and friends at our side.

Kelly, please take care... and hang in there!!!!

Please post some details.  I saw her once a year or two ago.  What a nice lady.  I believe she was a ballet dancer and lived in France part of the year.  What a loss of a really sweet person.

I have mostly been a lurker but this situation has given me reason for pause.

Some of our friends are under a great deal of stress (understandably).  Let’s make an effort over the next few weeks to show how much we appreciate our favorite ladies.

Give em a little extra in the envelope or an extra hug or two.  Also, we should be extra understanding with seeing someone for the first time.   I recently (this week) saw someone that I had not been with before and they were a bit nervous, now its clear to me why.

Thats just weird this whole thing to say something like that and just leave all us hanging. Do any females on here have anything to worry about ?

My prays for Cheryl and her family.

YES!! I asked three or four times if it was related to her job and nobody answered me. I am seriously thinking about now seeing any new guys even though I screen. I really wish this question would stop being ignored. I used to feel really safe about meeting new people and now this whole thing has me shook. Can we get a yes or no on the question please so that I can at least relax more.

I met Cheryl once... not through an appointment... she seemed very nice.  I hope the bastard responsible is convicted and rots in hell.

do a search of local news media

agreed.  I've never met her, but I've seen a few of her posts and they always seemed great natured!  My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family.  It'a always sad to see someone so young and full of life get robbed of it.  I also hope whoever did this to her, gets convicted and gets the chair/injection or rots in hell(dies in jail)

I remember she had this sweet black dog.  Weird but I wonder what happened to the dog.  She adored the dog.  What sadness.
