No personal experience, but I have also read on TER of bad experiences with PP not just freezing accounts but seizing assets.

A recent thread discussed this and someone suggested that PP Gift Cards circumvent the problem.  Here's the link:

Hi,
I was offered a gift via PayPal and am careful on the matters. Does anyone accept PayPal? If so, what do you use? Your email?  You business bank account or personal one?
I only have personal bank account so I am unsure how to make the entire transaction happen.
Also, can the giving party request a return? Did anyone have any kind of experience with Paypal?
All advise or info is welcome.
Thank you.

I have heard dozens of horror stories about Pay Pal freezing the accounts (along with the assets) of anyone suspected of any kind of illegal activities.

I know there are some women who have gotten away with it for years, but the risk/reward is simply not worth it. Do you really want to go to bed each night wondering if you will still have any money in your account in the morning?

....these gentlemen know my true name, etc.  My e-mail address for PayPal is sports related, so it looks very mundane.

If new gentlemen would like to gift me by credit card, they can do so through Square, which is linked to my business bank account.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly

Besides hookers one of the other main targets for freezing assets by Pay Pal is sports gambling. They seized huge amounts of cash from many of the bookies in Costa Rica and other Latin American and Caribbean countries.

I know you have done fine for years, but others should be VERY VERY cautious if they decide to deal with Pay Pal.
