TER should allow the TER ad to be THE ad, but as of now they still require the gals to have an existing ad somewhere else (on an approved site) and pretty sure that has always been the rule. :(

I just re-read the guidelines and a link to some site or ad or the TER profile is a must.

I do recall one time however that gals were posting ads without this, at least it appeared to me that way.

Given that TER has gotten very picky about the ad sites they accept, it seems that at least for new providers, allowing them to place an ad without a link would be a good way to let them get started.

Does anybody have any idea how to post the right way when your an independent with no links to put in the ad.
I have pics to link but that is all I have...
I am very frustrated :-(

someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that in order to post an ad on an ad board, you have to have a website that has the TER logo on it, on the homepage of the site.

Until you get a website, you can't post an ad.

...an ad on Slixa or My Provider Guide will do. There are a couple of ad sites TER no longer allows which once were ok. Read the thread impposter pointed out for their names.

just put down your email and/or phone number in the body of the ad, and spell out any other details that people should know such as verification requirements, hours, and of course rates

A provider's ad on TER MUST include a link to her personal website (which has to have the TER link) or an ad on an escort mall, verification site, or a link to her TER profile. This is clearly stated in the provider ad posting guidelines, and has been mentioned here on the newbie board thousands of times. As much time as you spend here, how can you not know this? :)

Provider ad posts (and ISO replies) must include a link to either your personal website, your TER review profile, or directly to your ad on an escort mall.  This means that EVERY ad post, in order to be posted, MUST list one of the above three types of links in the "Link URL" field when creating the post. If the "Link URL" field is left blank, the ad post will not be approved.

Thank you responding :-)

Others will help with specific problems but, for now, scroll down 6 topics to "I am a newbie. Looking to book a first client - by Lisaleipzig, 7/13/2015 8:26:15 AM" and read through that. Many of the replies address posting ads and so on.

And I'm pretty sure that you do not need a personal website to post an ad but that you do need some sort of web-ad, even if it's only on an ad mall.

If, for now, all you have are pics, you can check out the Pictures Only board and read the rules: something like one post per day, must have "Your City" in the subject line, no links or text ... read the rules.

And for local help, post to your local discussion board.  Read-only for a few days to get a feel for the board members and then start contributing.  And you can ask for help there, as long as it doesn't come across as a threAD.

Stay tuned as more answers will be coming in

Hello,
Thank you so much for all the great info :-)
I am fairly new to the site

...read the thread impposter told you about. It will help.

I included a link below to the TER guidelines for posting an ad on your TER regional ad board.

This information is in the Self-Help Center. I recommend you find and read the Self-Help Center. Click the site map link at the bottom of any page. Look under the Policy & Info heading. The Self-Help Center link will be there.

Hello,
Thank you for replying and for the useful info :-)
I am fairly new to the site so I suppose I just have to get used to it. Lol
I read the posting guidelines and also got an email which helped a lot.
Thanks again ;-)
Brandi

I just switched away from them because I'm interested in providing x rated content.
