RS2K plus references

This would be to each her own ( it really depends on the provider ). I would fill out the R2SK plus the providers that you have ( even though they might be old ), and I would just tell her that in the comments section. If it is not enough, I am sure that she would email you for more info. At that point you can decide weather you want to give her any additional info or just move on.

Hi All -- I'm not exactly a newbie per se, but I had a screening question so I thought I'd post it here as (1) I'm an infrequent enough hobbyist to fall into newbie territory and (2) this thread might be of benefit to others who are new.

When you go to fill out a provider's booking form and it requests your RS2K information plus "two or more providers with whom you have recently spent time", how would you go about handling things if you are enrolled in a verification service (RS2K in my csae) but are not nearly a frequent enough hobbyist to be able to provide recent references? (And your past experiences might have been with ladies who have moved on.)

How carved in stone is the requirement for references? I ask because I whenever I do engage in the hobby, I make it a rule to only seek out highly regarded and reputable providers (i.e., no BP or the like) but am a little frustrated as the requirement for references seems to be rendering my RS2K membership useless for this purpose.

In cases like mine, is RS2K membership in good standing for nearly ten years good enough in the end or is the inability to provide recent references a deal breaker?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts or advice!

...There isn't a standard answer that would apply to every or even most ladies. Some are adamant about references with your RS2K membership some might not be. Some might go with an older reference especially if it's a lady they know.

Telling her basically what you said here is a good way to start and see what she says.

you contact them and let them know.  No provider likes a surprise contact for a reference, esp if it's been a while since you saw her.  She might not remember you.

and assuming you are comfortable doing so, you can ask her if she will accept more personal info about you in lieu of the references such as work info and home address, etc.

Be sure she has a sterling reputation first, however.
