Same problem

I have the same problem with a twist. I began as a newbie hobbyist in 2003-04. I haven't seen a proper provider since then. I recently decided to jump back in the pool for my trip to Las Vegas in July. I have a TER handle (obviously) as well as RS2K verification. However, I cannot provide recent references because I haven't seen anyone for over 10 years. This young & popular provider in San Diego brushed me off and didn't want to work with me on getting verified. Perhaps she didn't want me as a client, that's the vibe I got. Besides, I was offering to hire her for a multi-day engagement, we are talking a substantial amount of money.

Any veteran gents have any suggestions for me other than to go see a newbie provider just to get a reference?

I am truly a newbie.  In fact, I have not yet had an encounter with a provider and am looking forward to doing so.  I have found several who interest me and with whom I'd like to meet.  However, they all require as part of their screening process either references or verifiable employment information.  Since I haven't yet visited a provider, I obviously cannot provide any references.  As for employment info, all my income is generated by my investment portfolio and so I do not have an employer either.  I am concerned about how to get past this screening hurdle so I can begin enjoying this fine hobby.  Suggestions?  Thank you.

You're not the only self-employed person on this board; P411 or DateCheck should be able to verify you in other ways.  But it sounds like you'd rather *avoid* screening, which will raise a red flag with the smarter providers.

You can go with Backpage girls--I'm sure many of them don't screen.   Since you're a high-risk client (no screening), you may have to see high-risk girls.

Your other option is the sugarbowl, which doesn't require screening, but it usually takes longer to get laid.  --

Many providers have more than two ways to verify you. Explain your situation and work with her to get over the screening hurdle, then go have a good time.

Thank you for the helpful responses.  Just to be clear...I have no objections at all to the screening process per se...on the contrary, I understand and appreciate its importance in providing security for all.  I'm just worried about how to get through it given my situation.  Thanks again.

...They will work with you to verify using alternate methods.
