Some agencies will schedule for UTR providers. You would be able to schedule with them but would not be able to know about them (reviews, photos, what have you). One is to see a gal at a massage parlor, become her regular, and then ask to take it to the next level. I still see a couple of gals that I met years ago that way. It is a bit hit-or-miss.
The other is when a gal brought in a doubles partner who did not escort as a rule, then find a way to get in touch with her (She slipped her phone number to me surreptitiously.) and take it from there.
Neither method is simple or fool proof, but these have turned out to be very satisfying and long term relationships

...recommends a UTR provider to a hobbyist must also know the hobbyist as well. No one is going to give a stranger a recommendation simply because he asks for one on the Newbie board.
no one is going to pass along info for a UTR provider to someone he doesn't know just because he asked for it on TER. You have to ask other hobbyists that you know personally if they have any recommendations. Those providers are UTR because they do NOT want their contact info available to everyone. If you know any guys in your area, ask them if they know of any UTR providers.

I'd suggest if you can, get screened and go to a Meet and Greet, get to know some of the providers/hobbyists in the area. Then they'll be more likely to refer you to UTR once they get to know you.
and that in itself is not a bad thing, but until you get to be a "known quantity" people will be happy to give you general answers to your questions, but you won't be trusted with such sensitive information like the identities of women who want to keep a very low profile.
I am sure you can see how counterproductive that would be. Don't worry, once you get a few ladies to vouch for you, the rest of the pieces will fall into place rather quickly. One small word of advice though, pushing TOO hard TOO quickly will raise a LOT of red flags among both the men and the women here. So, patience grasshopper, patience. lol
