I think I've seen what he's talking about once or twice, but I was pretty sure it's just because the photo board can be slow to load. 50 pics in flat mode and all. If you hit like then hit a see my reviews link before the whole page is done loading, then use the back button to get back to the photos, your like may look as if it's not there. However, I'm pretty sure if you refresh the page, it will show up without having to redo.
I've seen this happen maybe once and I've seen it work just fine as you describe many many times. I think it's the load time.I visit the PO board daily and click "like" on postings that I find stimulating. I've been aware that if I opened a posters profile after I'd "liked" it that my "like" would disappear and I'd have to click it again. Little did I know that opening ANY posters profile link would cancel out ALL of the likes I'd clicked for that day. Please fix that asap TER. How many unsuspecting voters are having their "likes" not counted?
I gave your post a "like". Then, I clicked on your "13" to see your reviews. Then, I went back to this thread. My "like" was still there and the like button was no longer active.
Then I went to Photo Only, "liked" someone's pic and clicked on their "See my TER Reviews" link. Then I went back to the Photo Only board and my "like" was still there for her. (Like button was no longer active on her post but still active on other posts.) I also went back to your post and my "like" was still there (button inactive).
I guess I'm not seeing what you're seeing. Or did I do something different from you did?

Yeah, I didn't mention that. I clicked her "like," went for a run, took the car for a wash, picked up some takeout and a few minutes after I got back home, my mouse icon finally stopped spinning. THEN, I clicked on her "See my TER Reviews" link.
I think Fear is right. But, it's not something I'm going to try again.
Just played around a bit based on your input and have discovered that, although what I said was basically correct, there is a fail safe built into the system. Leaving the thread entirely, then returning shows that all likes clicked will be repopulated. Hurray!
