I hope you find some help here! It's a little crazy sometimes, but there are some gems to be found ;-)

I hope your first solo tour to DC is looking good now that you've got your ads up! xoxo

Hi there!

My name is Grace.  I'm just starting out and have a few questions about this site.  Would love to chit chat with any of the lovely ladies and gentlemen on here who are experienced in this fun and exciting hobby!

You will find a lot of useful information on that board. There are a number of very helpful individuals who will guide you.

Welcome to TER.

FAQ's for newbies is a great way to start here.

...let me recommend you come read on the Newbie Board (aka FAQ's for Newbies).

Many questions have been answered there. Ask questions on the Newbie Board there are many members willing to answer and help you.

Read the Self-Help Center. Find the Self-Help Center link by going to the bottom of any page. Click on the site map link. Look under the Info & Policies heading. The Self-Help Center link is there.

(I put a link to the Self-Help Center here to make it easier for you this time.)

Definitely check out the self help center and the newbie board. Read back a bunch of pages on that board, and also use the search feature to look for specific topics you are interested in (hint: when searching, change the date range from the default 30, to 300 or more). If you can't find what you are looking for in the self help center or the newbie board search, feel free to ask on the newbie board. Everyone is helpful and nice there. (Even some people who act like assholes on this board :) )
Looks like you are friends with Charlotte who has been on TER for a while. I'm sure she can give you some pointers as well.

Now my other two points:
1) You are actually not allowed to post your website link in a threadstarter post (except on the regional ad boards). You can post your link in any follow up posts that are replies but not in an OP (original post). If you are lucky, TER will just edit out your link and leave your post (and perhaps move it to the newbie board). If you are unlucky, they will delete the whold thread. Hopefully if that happens you have had a chance to read the replies first.

2) please add your location to your website. I didn't see anywhere in the site that says where you are based. It is frustrating for potential clients to find pictures snd a bunch of information on a lady on her website, but to have no clue where she is.

Good luck.
